being in brighton, i would recommend against tinting your front windows.
i lived there for 20 years, and has been the ONLY city i've gotten pulled over for tints in. Now that cops can give points & fine for window tint at their discretion, i dont see it being worth the trouble.

o u have no idea I assume u knw where the millpond is..... i was there one night and no joke i saw 5 cops on main street at the same time!! 2 of them had ppl pulled over...

back when drugs were cool, i had an extremely small amount of marijuana on me when i got pulled over, cop smelled it and searched my ****. 10 minutes later, i had 6 cop cars and 11 cops searching my car.

hahaha thats too funny man. tht happend to a buddy of mine when i was with him. we were in howell and got pulled over right after packing the bowl and a cop comes around the corner (we were in the middle of nowhere btw) bt we didnt let him search the car and we got away with it

yea there was no getting away with it for me. the cop pulled me over to tell me my gas cap was open (which i forgot to shut because i was high) but when i rolled down my window, he smelled it immediately

haha thats funny as hell man! ya i almost **** myself when he was tyring to let us let him search the car... we were both under 18 at the time and my friend smoked cigs and it reeked of that too lol the cop wasnt happy lol

I did 20% all around when I lived up there. Window tint is a secondary offense so they have to pull you over for something else before they can do anything about the tint. I think it was around a $75 ticket and I only got 1 of them.
I got mine at M14 and Sheldon. Plymouth Twp police most likely have nothing better to do than ride around looking for traffic tickets.

Not true. Every time I've been pulled over and tint was involved, it was the only reason. That has happened 4 or 5 times now, one state, one sheriff, and two or three city of different jurisdictions.

dam...i got pulled over for tints on my way home tonight on mound by sterling heights police...its so gay...wtf...ive only had my car for literally a month and bought it with the tints on it of the lot at a used dealership...i really dont want to take it off cuz my stock red ss is gonna look dumb...but i hate getting pulled over so ill prolly just take it off...grrrr i hate cops...

I have 5% all around, and I agree with those who said it depends on the cop. I can roll past city cops all day, but its the Wayne Cty Sheriffs who feel the need to dick me around. It's not a big deal for me, I have a cop friend who signs off on all my tix, but for those who actually have to pull the tint or pay the fine, it can be a real pain in the ass.
