I adjusted the coilovers last night, and lowered the Cobalt so theres just a little over one inch gap all the way around.
It wasnt that hard to do, just required taking off the wheels, and making adjustments by hand to the coilover sleeves.
The car feels so much better now. Its amazing how you get used to a blown suspension, and think its fine, when in fact its in very bad shape! Our factory struts were blown pretty badly!
Ill be posting photos later tonight/tomorrow morning.

If you can find someone else to purchase the fronts, then we could sell the rears seperate though.

Here it is.
Installed photos of the coilovers:
We are about 3 - 4 weeks from shipping these out to customers.
Id say, once we get closer to production being finished, then being boxed, and then delivered to us, we will start accepting preorders for them. That will be in roughly 2 - 2.5 weeks maybe.

maybe i'll throw the real money into my EVO... get the whole Tein setup with EDFC controller.
but for now i'll keep my stock shocks and progress springs.
yah know, it's funny how the big known parts companies dont make parts for our cars... kinda shitty huh?

Instead of whining about how you cant buy "Tein" coilovers for your American car, why not support the COMPANIES WHO ARE MAKING PARTS FOR YOUR CAR ! ?
Jeesh.
You know, the reason a lot of companies dont produce parts for the Cobalt, is because they believe the market is small. When you dont buy parts from the companies that are producing parts for your car, then you are part of the reason the whole market is small. After these larger companies see that theres a good demand for parts, they will begin to develop new parts.
I am not trying to pick on you specifically, but have a problem with the whole attitude of, I dont want to buy a certain part unless brand XX makes it for my car. Doesnt make much sense to me, when I can see that theres a good aftermarket for the Cobalt.

thats not it at all, what i am stating is i dont think the toy i have for the time being is worht throwing all my money i plan on spending on something else, on this... so actually i wasnt complaining i was simply stating that most internationally reputably known companies dont think our car is worth crap, plus didnt brembo JUST make brakes for our car? theres one...

we have a lot of stuff for our cars, look at intakes even, injen, weopon R, fujita, gmpp, K&N. those all seem like pretty big names to me
but the point is, these guys and many other vendors are spending their trime for us, the cobalt/g5/ion owners.
I give modern and the supporting vendors a lot of props for designing quality parts for our cars.

Front spring rate is 448 ft lbs
Rear spring rate is 280 ft lbs
As high as those numbers sound, the ride quality is suprisingly good.
The car handles great, bumps arent too bad, and overall im very happy with the way the car rides, and feels. Its 600-1000 times better than the old blown factory struts and the Eibach sportline springs that were on the car before.
