I just threw that price out there to see who would be interested in saving $110 or so. If I see enough people would commit, Id work hard with the manufacturer to make it happen!

Rears have been turned to full hard for the majority of the miles

fronts have always been about 13-15 turns towards hard (out of 31.5 turns)

No problem

great product

I think these might be in the future for me, the design looks better than several others

H&R, B&G, KW = no pillowball mounts

I'm looking for something that can be adjusted to ride like stock and has grippy handling and then can be adjusted for max grip at the track, specifically drag racing, and I want front pillowball mounts so i dont have to buy stock strut mounts to use.

How do these fit in with those desires?

Let's try this again...

Can these be had sans camber plates to mount to a single-bolt strut tower for the Ion's?

Can these be ordered with a different spring rate from the get-go for those of us who know what spring rates we want - and the rates that it comes with standard aren't it.

What is the range of spring rates that the shocks will support?

Don't seem like tough Q's...

Keep in mind, that you have full control over the dampening of the struts, with 30 adjustments from full hard to full soft to your liking.

Cobalt LS, Cobalt SS, doesnt matter, you can adjust it to whatever heigth you want. If you want it stock heigth in the front, and 2.5 inches lower in the rear, no problem. if you want it lowered 2.5 inches all the way around, no problem. Takes about 30 mins - an hour to fully adjust all corners.

Im suprised you have wheels but havent lowered your car.

Warranty is 90 days, and the most critical piece, which is the gas cylinder inside the strut body, if it ever blows outside the warranty period, can be bought for $100 directly from BC !

So, nothing to worry about, its a great setup. I have the prototype BC coilovers on my 95 Dodge Neon, and the prototype BC coilovers on our 2005 Chevy Cobalt SS and both are working great.

Youll be happy with this setup and you DONT have to worry about the warranty on it !
Your first post in this thread says the warranty is 1 year, now you say it's 90 days. Neither of those is an acceptable warranty period in my mind. If I don't have to worry about the warranty it should be longer. I just can't hand over $1000 and hope everything is ok in 3 1/2 months.

- These come preassembled from BC, you could try to make them work without camber plates.

- 448 lb springs in the front, 224 lb springs in the rear.
- 336, 560, 672, 890, 1000 lb springs also available
- The shocks can support one range higher, or even lower, however anything more than that, and they will need to be revalved, which can be done.

If you are wanting to revalve/change spring rates, contact me direct. NOTICE This is something that only 5% or less of Cobalt owners will need to worry about, and only for dedicated track rats, or wannabe suspension afficionados. For just about everyone else, the stock valving and spring rates have been found to be good, and the car will handle FAR better than the stock spring/strut combination.

Sorry for the confusion. Its 1 year warranty.

QUITE A few manufacturers have little to no support on coilovers, but yet BC has a one year warranty, and like I mentioned, you can buy replacement strut cartridges for $100 if your outside the warranty period. Thats not a bad deal.

Especially when I take into account some of the experiences Ive had with KW suspension and getting replacement pieces from KW (Think about Vietnamese water torture like fun!) and replacement pieces from Mopar (sourced from KW). Its something you DO NOT Want to go through.

BC has an office in the USA, that you can reach directly, and get rebuild support, replacement pieces, replacement springs if need be, etc. Its really a wonderful company to deal with, and their pricing on parts is great as well.

We can ship direct to Canada by Fedex Express International Economy for about $1130 delivered. Canadian customs fees would be about another $130. It would take less than ONE week for delivery to you after we ship.

We have a DEDICATED employee who handles personally all of our international shipments, and so we know exactly what customs forms are needed, and whats needed for NO delays, no suprises, etc to ship to Canada, and we'd love to help.

If you have any questions about shipping on this, or any other product you can email our dedicated international employee at :

international@modernperformance.com

Or, feel free to pm me and Ill be happy to help.

On your site there listed under suspension for the Cobalt SS/TC but when you click them it switches to SS/SC. These work with the TC as well or no?
