the first one is without the wotbox, i can hear the clutch slipping out without alot of rpm drop or the clutch needed a little heat in it

i really couldnt tell but it sounded like the 2nd and 3rd were on auto and there was a big rpm drop

the 4th sounds about somewhere near 175-200ms
the last one sounds like somewhere around 75 ms

judging by the movement of the clouds and the weather report for your area in the past couple days with normal winds the timeframe you filmed this in was very narrow.the clutch may have needed some cooldown time between runs and runs 2-5 would have burnt a little more rubber

damnit I'd post some vids but my car is out of action, clutch just arrived yesterday, install on the 16th hopefully. Vids and track time a week or so after that. After being at E-town saturday for pinks all out, I can't wait to get my car back on the track.

oh and your box worked pretty damn good in my friends srt last weekend. Finally got it adjusted for him for the second run, too bad they wouldn't give him his times.

ill post up which each ones were, you are a little off

also, there was no clutch slippage in any of these, the road is not really a great road and the tires were not making much noise on initial hit in 2nd. they broke lose every time so the "clutch slip" you hear is actually the tires spinning for a split second

1st- off the box, felt like the best to me
2nd- 25ms
3rd- 75ms
4th- 200ms, seemed slow as hell
5th- 50ms
6th- 125ms

imo the more "tirespin" is not indicative of a great shift or not for the most part.

im gonna have to disagree with you here! numerous people have felt your clutch was slipping but your blind to the fact that it is... the first one was pretty bad that was with no box thats why i feel this is a great product it helps eleminate clutch slip, and its not the clutch that the weak point its the pressure plate is not strong enough... when ever someone replaces there clutch cause there upgrading, the clutch looks brand spanking new but wont hold? cause its a weak pressure plate not a gone/weak clutch...

the last one was the best... your right tire spin dosent equal speed

but it does equall power being put to the ground which equals faster times at the track were the tires actually will hook (or when better tires are put on like DR or slicks)

gotta get over the whole clutch slip thing before you will realize a upgraded clutch alone will probably drop your et's by a few tenths... all of this is just my opinion not trying to argue...

im not going to argue about it, and im not "blind to the fact"

i think you and i can both agree that you get way more feedback in a car than you do watching videos. correct? the clutch hits hard on all these, and i do feel that the regular speed shifting method is quicker. just my opinion though. i too have been wondering which would actually be easier on the clutch

vids are great but nothing is better than raw data.i love video because it helps confirm what you see in logs.we have to get a car setup with an in car camera.thank you for taking the time to put up those vids though we very much appreciate it!

ahhh so you'll be cutting fuel instead of spark on these ones?

that sucks

No. We still cut ignition, but we use the fuel injector control signal for timing reference. It works the same, just a slightly different software load. I am working on combining them so we can run the same code on both wiring setups.
