What year is it? And does your state perform emissions tests?

if its an LSJ, stay stock as long as you can. All LSJ exhausts sound like honda fart-cannons to me.

Mike5962, if you can find a Corsa Touring or Sport catback you will not sound like a "Honda fart-cannon". Zero rasp with a deep throaty exhaust note.

and leemanfor since we are ragging on LSJ's, I feel like some SS/TC exhaust setups sound like diesel trucks. Which to me sounds like poo.

Where can you get Corsa Touring exhaust? I tried googling and found some videos and it seems to sound pretty damn good. I need a new exhaust as I am pretty sure my Magnaflow is blown out as mine is louder/raspier than I would like. I am just having a hard time justifying spending money on a new exhaust when it won't make me any faster.

They don't sell them new anymore. Gotta search for a used one.

I've had my Corsa Touring installed since 2010. Sounds fantastic. No drone, rasp, fart can noises, etc.

Gl finding a Corsa touring. I sold my Corsa used for 500$. Sold it quick.
If you want an exhaust I have a 3 inch zzp exhaust for sale for 300$. It's used of course.

How does it sound? Is it there latest iteration because I have heard youtube videos of their resonated exhaust (does yours have resonator?) and it sounds pretty good. Also, will it bolt up to ZZP LT header with 2.5" exit flange?

No. Needs a 3 inch flange. Has a resonator

Hey @ Mike5962, welcome to the forum and good luck in hunting for your Chevy.

What year Cobalt are you planning to get? Depending on the model year of your SS, we can pick the best sounding performance exhaust for you.

Yes there is. It's sad.

I try not to play in to it, but there are some days I just get tired of SS/TC owners knocking the SS/SC.

It's getting better with all the 300+whp LSJ's gaining respect, but we still get treated like we are some kind of Honda at times.

I owned an LSJ, I never said it was a bad car. My opinion is that of all the exhausts I heard on an SS/SC, they all sound like fart cannons.

I kept the stock muffler on my SS/TC for a very long time.

That last message wasn't direct towards you man... it was more of a general statement of most SS/TC owners.

Get's old after a while. Especially when both cars can be built to nearly identical specs.

Exhaust

Thanks for the responses. I have a 2006 supercharged cobalt. And do the back seats fold as well?
