Holy **** what an epic thread. So much win on the OP's side. Little fun fact about boosting a base model, if you want to run with stock lsj's its do-able for under 2k, you want to be faster than stock lsjs, stock lnfs its going go cost near 5-6k, be faster than modified lsj's and lnf's get ready to buy another car and drive that while the base is down and another 15k for mods. 2 of the highest whp cobalt/g5 base models are local to me and they spend more time down than running. I would explain the issues when building the base models but you know everything there is to know more about racing, tuning, and building an engine than an entire forum of members who have been doing this most likely since before you where born. Because a lighter car stock is gonna be faster, with the skinny 15inch rims good luck with traction.
