So anyone that starts out with a car that makes more than 150 HP is a *****? I fail to see the logic. "I want to start with a **** car, then put a bunch of money into it so it can still be slower than the highest trim package." - NO ONE EVER.
Base balts were for people that wanted a cheap car with decent mileage. The SS was meant to be the faster car for people that weren't as concerned with mileage and saving money.
Admit it... he could only afford the LS and now he wants a "racecar".

when i met him he had several cars and all of then were basic models turned race car its just his preference no need to hate i'm not hating

Nothing wrong with building a base model car, granted if I was looking for a car to build a base cobalt isn't exactly where I would start. I definitely wouldn't be thinking that it's better than the SS in any way though. He just wants to work with what he has.
