"Entry level stuff"

Its an all around better trans, just better design. Only thing they lack is factory lsd option.

Just like how the LNF is an all around better engine

so lower displacement, lower compression ratio, and expensive fueling options make it better? Only thing i see as a benefit is the engine controller and how much power you can make with just a tune. x2

f23 is a three shaft trans which distributes the torque load better, thats why you dont see cracked cases on f23s

I think my setup with the DI and meth is an awesome setup. I do like LE5s but they don't compare to an LNF. If the LE5 had a forged crank I would have one in my car

what makes you think the crank is an issue? The cast cranks have held well over 700whp, i dont see you going that far with your build lol.

the way the girdle was designed makes it very hard to fail a crank in these engines

You could easily use one to make a 2.4 lnf. No mods needed

I wanted a 2.4 and ZZP told me the crank flexes in high hp builds. Oh ya u don't have much higher compression than me

Casting leads to imperfections in the metal, forged is never melted down and casted into a mold, it's pressed and hammered out. It's kind of like tools, sure the cast cheap tools will work for you but only for so long till they break or you get something like Mac or snap on that is forged it has a way higher reliability rate. I also haven't seen too many 700hp LE5 builds, I've actually never seen one, but, then again I don't look for them.

Forged > cast

It's how metallurgy works, there is no changing that fact.
