new to the cobalt world!

hey everyone. im soon going to be a proud new owner of a 2006 cobalt SS. i just had a couple questions. If anyone could help me out that would be great!the ss has an upgraded 2.8 pulley, but everything else is still stock. should i be worried about it? what other mods should I make to it, to make sure everything runs smoothly? thank you in advance any, and all feedback is appreciated.

It was tuned right? If not get it tuned for that pulley asap.

Some good mods for your car would be option b system(helps your intercooling system bleed air more efficiently than stock) and rotated trans mounts(they reposition your transmission and engine to straighten the angle of your axles)

And welcome! Post Pics

he hasn't tuned it. how much do you think a tune would run? how long do you think i could drive it with the tune till I had to upgrade any internals if i had to? i will post pics as soon as i can.

i spoke with a rep from zzp he said i should install a 3.0 or 3.1 pulley back into the car. and an 60# injector to get it "properly" running. but if i were to get it tuned for the 2.8. shouldn't i be fine?

It depends on the tuner, there are some good tuners just depends on where your located. Some tuners also remote tune but you'll have to buy hptuners software and have a laptop that can run it.

May also need larger injectors as well to feed that pulley size. But for now the best thing you can do is put the stock pulley on
