What Stage kit should I get?

What stage kit should I get? (I only have $1000 to do this with and would like to spend as little as possible but I am willing to pay the extra money for the gm stage kits) ZZP, OTTP, or GM? (I don't want to do my own instillation so if I get ZZP or OTTP I will take it into an aftermarket part shop to get it installed) Stage 1 or Stage 2? Any mods I NEED to get with them that they don't come with to avoid malfunctions? If I get a GM stage kit will the tune come with the kit or do I need to pay extra money to get a tune from a dealer/tuner? If I go ZZP what injector size should I use with a 3.1 will the Siemens #42 work? Will they work with a 3.0 pulley?

A) search. Do a google search with cobaltss at the end. There is one of these same exact threads opened every day.

B) go with zzp or ottp whichevers cheaper

C) make sure ur i.c. Pump is working and replace if needed (search)

D) go with a 2.8" pulley and 60# injectors, go 80# if you wanna run e85 gas for more power

E) get any and all.coolig mods that.you can. Dual pass, extra heat exchanger, option b, phelonic.manifold spacer, meth injection.

F) get a custom tune. Dyno tune is always best, or a local good tuner with hptuners. Should cost between 3-500 for a tune. Dont run a canned tune from zzp or ottp for too long

G) i wouldnt go with the gm parts the car can handle smaller puley and bigger injectors, plus their tune is pig rich

^^ agreed, but do cooling mods before you run a 2.8 pulley, and cooling mods don't normally require a tune right away (rice correct me if i'm way off base)

My only question now is the option 1 part on the zzp kit it has the option of an oversized tensioner pulley, a shorter belt ($35), or the zzp adjustable tensioner ($110) should I just get the shorter belt?

only thing i disagree with slightly is the phenolic spacer.... on the turbo cars it makes a big difference but on the lsjs i dont see it doing anything since heats coming fromthe blower and heat soaking the manifold anyways.
