How much does everyone plan to bring/spend money wise? I am trying to figure in gas, food, goodies, and hotel. How much was spent last year? Just trying to get an idea.

I don't think we really spend to much money last year...

Be sure to bring a roll of quarters and other spare change for the tolls. I just brought a grocery bag full of munchies, water, pop and alcohol and we hardly even touched it. Both nights (Fri & Sat) last year we ate out at a restaurant for dinner. Lunch will be put on by CED on Saturday. The CED lunch had the basics (hot dogs, chips, pop, etc...) so if you want anything else you'll have to bring it.

For the weekend I just put everything on my check card so Im really not to sure on how much we spent but I know it wasn't that much. Our cars get pretty good gas mileage so that helps.

As for a Room...Depending on how many of us end up going we can share rooms. Is your wife planning on attending? Either way I think the 4-5 of us could just share a room if that's cool with you...It'll brings the cost down a bit. Were all pretty laid back so I don't think you'll have to worry about much.

If hoffa doesn't go...sounds like he's not
We'll have to just plan a meeting spot for early Friday AM...I can pick a decent spot.

I dont think she will be coming with but thats what she said the first time I asked her about the moa meet. If she comes I dont think she would mind sharing a room with you guys. Will it just be us minnesota guys sharing a room? You pick the spot I'll be there! I cant wait, I think my co-worker is getting annoyed from me saying "I cant wait for the meet" lol. I will have to have ryan throw my goodies on before this meet 4-sure!

Yeah...it would be just us MN guys...Me, P, you and Chris (Cuda009).

Sounds like each room has two queen size beds...you do the math

LOL oh man... last year it was me and jeff in a bed then justin had one... and some WI guy slept on the couch we had for a night. I've shared a bed with jeff since we were 2 so no biggie there...would make it easy to have a slumber party if we pushed the 2 queen beds together though....

Hoffa I am sorry to hear about your lady losing her job. that just is a crappy time to lose one :/ Maybe she will find one before the meet and you can come?

I'm gonna give that a shot in a couple minutes!

Are we gonna avoid the toll roads?

I'll have to see how many toll we'd be avoiding and how much of a difference in miles that other route is. If were only avoiding a few tolls and having to driving all over its not really worth it.

You just pull up and pay anywhere from $0.80 - $1.80...They really dont tell you how much the next toll is until you almost at the booth

The way that avoids the tolls is worth it. We always went that way when we went down to Six Flags in Gurnee. I don't remember the route though since I've never drove the route.

Someone posted a link in the main ced thread from mn. You just have to pin point your spot. I did it from 694 and highway 10 and it was like 6 hours i think.
