ha ok you got me. BUT considering the CXL is $29k and thats a turbo w/ brembo already. The GS is going to be at least $35k. God I cant wait for the fan bois to freak over that one. And people got so ******* worked up about the focus RS price hahaha.
#136
The GS should be right around $34 depending how you equip it. I work for a Chev- Buick- GMC dealer and even the most decked turbos still arent hitting 35 k unless you go nuts on the wheel package, nav, and everything else, you gotta remember there are rebates and incentives that knock that sticker down a bit.

Id take a focus RS over a buick gs any day though. that detuned lnf is whack sauce well the turbo is. We shall see how it does though. wonder how diff the lag is compared to the lnf...
#138
Bottom Line: I'm I'm pissing away 34-40k on a turbo car, I might as well just get the Subaru STI and call it a day.
#139
there is lag on a single scroll vs twin. the ms3 had like 500rpm of lag vs the lnf.
well thats my point, why would i drop 35k on a buick when I can get a real race prepped car for the same price. except **** subie, they still have engine issues.

Bottom Line: It's different.
More in depth, only cars I would really consider besides it are the Speed6 and the Lancer Sportback Ralliart, but that really doesn't have a manual transmission...Kind of wish the Suzuki Kizashi had a turbo, then I would consider one of those and it would probably be around $25k for more than 260hp. Mini Cooper S Countryman ALL4 is another option, but they are so expensive and maintain a high resale so buying would be a while plus I'm sure maintenance isn't cheap being German. Saab 9-3x is almost $40k, and lastly the WRX...I wouldn't get an STI (mainly for insurance reasons)...but I'm probably staying away from the Subaru's due to the issues they're having.
I have a list of reasons, but you don't care to read it all...lol.

P and I test drove a Kizashi a few months back...car has no *****, LOL......as long as your fine with that the car is nice!
Unless something sweet hits the market like a Focus RS, Fiesta RS, Sonic SS, Cruze SS....if not, I'll most likely just keep my car and buy a under 20K 4 door daily driver.

this summer and within 2 years there should be some kick ass cars. Theres rumors Ford is going to have gas powered engine driving 2 wheels and electric driving the other 2 for awd on a ford GT and focus RS so..I'm waiting for that But I wouldnt mind a pocket eco car at 100-200whp as my 3rd car.
