real bored.

I got some halogens wired into my new headlights while the HID's are waiting for replacement. I didn't have time to aim them last night...and let's just say I was lighting up the houses on each side of the street lol. I turned right around and just pointed the bastards straight down, so I only have light to about 10 feet in front of my car right now. I'm going to finish up tonight and snap some pics.

One of the Halo's was barely lighting up at all last night. It had me worried, but by the time I got home from my install garage she was bright as hell. The black housings just look awesome on the red car too. The bulbs I got are the new sylvania silverstars...and I have to say that I'm thinking about selling the HID setup after looking at these sylvania bulbs in action. Perfectly adequate for any driving situation. We'll see how much better the HID's are after they are functional.

 

how much did that cost you?

 

It was cheaper to buy the bundle than buying the projectors and a good HID setup separately, but I wish i would have spent the money on a different HID setup in hindsight. I'll probably invest in a real nice bulb/ballast kit when uncle sam sends me my rebate check.

1.8miles road track
Drift circle
Oval race track
Skid pad

My best time around the road track was 3:38 and the fastest car was a BMW 330xi with a time of 3:11
