Minnesota Balts

hey guys. i've been in contact with some of the WI boys about the CED open house meet on the 31st, seeing if we can't all meet up on the drive down and all go in together.
i think there are atleast 6 interested from WI group.
i was thinking if anyone is interested in going, meet here in winona and take 90 through WI and coming down this way instead of taking 94 through Eau Claire is honestly no different as far as time goes.
also, Hot Import Nights is in Chi town that weekend. not that i really care... i'm more interested in just us balts and ions but hey... its something else too if it peaks your interest.

i still find it hilarious that for the meet that i actually made it to, there were 5 cars, 4 vic red balts and a cavy
now the cavy turned into another vic red balt
hahaha

I did it on my last car. I thought it was going to be MUCH harder than it was. Your first step will most likely be the piece behind the handle that opens the door. I would wait until summer when the plastic is more malleable. Get a medium size flat head, some patience, and you'll be surprised how easily it comes apart. All of the wiring should have clips that remove...unlike part of the decklid

they didn't have anything in the how to section. anything that required that the door panel be taken off was stated as "take door panel off".
sorry... i would have liked something more than that to go off of, which is why i came to you guys
******* decklid wiring harness....

Sorry hoffa, didn't know you checked. Hmm..............I can't really help you as I have only had people at best buy (NEVER GO THERE, the one in Brooklyn Park, they'll mess you **** up) do it as you can see, they screwed my colorado up and the armrest on the door wouldn't stay down because they ******** broke the plastic tabs and TRIED to glue them back on.
I've never had a problem with Ultimate Electronics on the other hand. It's just a matter if you want to pay for it and get it done right, or attempt it yourself and rick breaking something (well I guess you would risk that as well if taken to the profs.. Since it is your first time though, I'd say take it to the profs..
