Thats cuz it was...that was the best day I’ve ever had in my Cobalt.

I took that picture during a brief stop due to a Miata skidding off the road while tearing up the country roads in Wisconsin.

FYI, Country Road Tours will be happening again soon (I’m guessing June) if any of you guys R interested. If so, be prepared to push your car to the limits, fill up with gas 2-3 times and just enjoy driving fast.

I'll give you the biggest notice I can but it may only end up being 1-3 week advance. I guess thats the way these sorta underground tours work.

 

i'd be interested in knowing as well, now that everything is done with my car i'd like to take a trip or go to a show. keep me in the loop as well

i was supposed to be able to pick it up yesterday but they only had the exhaust, manifold and stage 2 in there so i left it another day and they got the cold air in there now i guess and the spoiler is in painting and the tint isn't done yet but since they are so far behind on those two i might just pick it up today and get the tint and spoiler on sometime during the week next week.

the exhaust before the cold air has a really nice idol sound and just a bit ricy in higher rpm but i haven't driven it yet.

the guys there that pulled it out said it was much more responsive and it made a very noticable difference so i'll let you know for sure. so i'm gonna go pick it up while i'm out on my lunch break and i'll let you know after i have a lil fun.

 

Yeah the stage 2 kit makes a difference!

 

i dont know if some of you have looked at this or not but im starting to plan already for the july CED cobalt/muscle car show on the 7th.

i'm plannin now so the rest of us here have plenty of time to get it off from work and to look into getting a block of rooms at a hotel set aside for that night.

The march meet was a blast and this one is going to be sweeter. hell, half the fun was the cruise down with the 12ish balts from WI.

i don't know how many of you guys are looking at pulleys but i just thought i'd let ya know about nate's pulleys. i think his screen name is nhberst454, something like that. he lives over in blaine so they're easy to pick up. my bf had him make some for his grand prix and they look pretty good. just an fyi.

 

That July meet would be interesting. It's on a saturday at that! Works out for me as long as nothing else is going on. Hell I might even take that fri and monday off! It's still iffy as I don't know for sure, but I'd be willing to go!

and poolboyz02 i picked up my car and i think the parts made a very nice difference, can easily lose traction anywhere i first gear from a stop all the way to 7k redline and a decent ways into second gear.

if you guys are lookin for somethin to do tonight so things are a lil more social and everything i know the manager up at taco bell on highway ten in mounds view right across from the mermaid and fri and sat nights after ten me and some buddies of mine meet up there with our cars. anyone is welcome to come up and i'd like to meet and chat with some of you too so swing up there tonight or tomorrow if you have a chance.

sometimes we are up there from like ten at night til two in the morning so we are there quite a while sometime. we got some rx8s along with a turbod supra an srt-4 me and my s/c ss and some bikes so it's pretty fun. swing up there and chat sometiem if you guys get a chance

 

^^^This weekend I'm gonna be in Duluth but next weekend I think I may be able to swing in to that Toco Bell and chat for a while.
