That's funny, Nick Coleman, the ultraliberal Nick Coleman, saying this has nothing to do with partisan politics. That guy is a total whack job, regardless of his political beliefs. I'm amazed this guy got a job at a major market newspaper. While I agree that more money needs to be spent on roads, did we not just ratify a bill during the last elections to make all auto sales tax go directly toward road funding, or am I mistaken on that? Our roads suck major ass in general. Spend more money on it, but take the money from the useless non-necessities they blow millions on, not out of the pockets of the people that reside in the 2nd highest taxed state in the union that work for a living.

 

BRIDGE: yeah it WAS pretty crazy... i was about 20 mins away from there when it happened it was hectic down there to say the least... but i was pretty impressed with the response time of the emergency vehicles and everyone who came from all around the cities to assist... i think we've all used that bridge countless times! crazy! but yeah, it's incredible that there aren't more fatalities, gotta count the blessings... wow.

You do know since we live outta state you can just drive threw them I was there for a month or so and drove right threw them, Never got in trobule and its been a year since i been there

nope you can't. they give you a grace period...sort of. they allow you to go through the ipass lanes without an ipass or paying for tolls a few times until they send you a ticket in the mail. i think it is four times. maybe you went through more times and got lucky. either way, their roads suck ass, and they **** me off. minnesota is on the cool state list, no worries.

my car is making this sweet, confidence inspiring grinding noise from the front right every time I launch from a stop, and when i shift into second gear. High speeds = no noises whatsoever. Brought her in saturday, and of course the dealership found nothing wrong. "we hear the noise, but looking at the car we saw nothing wrong." As much as I love this car, it is the last time I ever buy a GM. My wife drive a stratus, I hate the car, but it's never seen a service bay. My car has 19k miles, been in to the dealership 5 times now. Can't wait for the warranty to be up and I get to pay for this ****. Anybody else have/had this terrible noise?

i'm sure there is a difference. although, still, i wouldn't have left without them stopping the noise.

 

I don't spin my tires, I don't launch hard, it's never been to a drag track or to autocross. I do some hard acceleration, but I don't take it hard around turns. I've gotten wheel hop one time and vowed never to do it again. I pretty much baby this thing. They were closing as I got the car on saturday, really had no choice.

vtec try yanking on your axels and see if there loose you possibly coulda broke one.. also do u have a lsd? bolth tires spin?

I've road raced my car 3 times now (about 1000miles of hard crazy driving) and I've never had a problem. My tires are about shot with only 13,000miles on them but thats the price I pay to play. I have LSD and maybe that help out a bit.




***Just some crazy info about the last road tour***

I knew we had a few cars fly off the road and that was about all we heard. I didn’t sound as if anyone got seriously hurt…

Well I found out a lil info on one of the cars (Acura Integra)

One of the Evo drivers went back to see if everything was ok and they ended up pulling both occupants out of that car.

The passenger was busted up pretty good; she couldn’t remember her name at first and was airlifted to Eau Claire

The driver was transported to Wabasha.

The car is still in Fountain City and is all messed up.

 

that would suck. hopefully she's alright since she couldn't remember her name but wow

no LSD, she accelerates as well as she always has. The car doesn't feel any different except that noise and slight vibration that I feel thru the clutch/throttle and the steering wheel.

 

bent rim possibly out of alignment go get it checked
