Depends on exactly what you are trying to do. If you are running a new amp for a new sub, you will have to get a line adapter so you can run rca's to the back for your amp.

if you're adding an amp, (which I hope you are) you'll need a RCA converter and tap into in the rear 6x9 wires before the stock amp. There's a wiring schematic somewhere in the how-to/or the electrical section...

i see lijewski beat me to it - i was too busy watching the vids....

some of the subaru guys i know love them, but they will never be as good as a summer tire in warm and dry conditions or a winter tire in the cold and snow.

If Justin know the location of where we'll be meeting the 507 members I think that would be a good spot to hook up with us.

it's been too quiet in here lately so i thought i'd share my news. nothin important but i just thought maybe i could get some activity in here with it.

yesterday on my way into work i was drivin down long lake road towards 694 so i could head into work. as i'm drivin i'm not doin anything wrong like speeding or anything, just tryin to get to work, that's all. a cop passes me and i could just tell he wanted to do whatever he could to ticket me so i see him whip a uturn not too far behind me.

he pulls me over and pokes fun at me while he can (obviously on a power high) and says it's a bit chilly for your windows all open so he has me roll mine up half way and he scans it. makes a few more smart ass comments and takes my stuff back to his car. writes me up a ticket and comes back up sayin i see you got a ticket for your tint in june too, why can't you get it through your thick head 20% is illegal, 50% is legal. i told him i was just tryin to get to work and took my stuff back and left.

as i pulled away i didn't give it any gas or anything but i got a couple loud backfires outta my exhaust and i thought for sure he'd pull me over again for illegal exhaust. he just had a stupid ass grin on his face and i could tell he was lovin the fact he was givin me a ticket.

so a good way to **** me off when i thought i was gonna have a good day but oh well. i'm in a debate bout takin off the tint now and maybe findin a way around the system maybe in the spring. we'll see what happens i know a few ways around it, we'll just see if i can pull em off or have the money to do it. i love the look of it on my car though and really don't wanna go without the tint for long. i'd leave it on if i could afford to keep payin the stupid $128 tickets.

That sucks. I got some tint tickets on my old car with 15%. The problem is that your car is tagged now for tint. Every time they run your plates they see the tickets for the tint and pull you over. You're stuck forever now with getting tickets if you leave the tint on. My rule of thumb after finding out the hard way was that cops are much less likely to pull you over if you have 35% or higher. I know many people with 35 that have never been pulled over. Unfortunately for you now, is that even if you put 35 on, your car is just as flagged as it was with the 20, and 35 is just as illegal as the 20. Take it off and save yourself some money.

On another note, if you can convince an eye doctor that you have hyper light sensitivity, I'm pretty sure you can get an okay from them authorizing darker tint that you can show the cops every time they pull you over. Wouldn't that be the ****?!? "Yes officer, my doctor here says I need darker tint for my hypersensitive eyes (hands over prescription). Blow me."

lol yeah, my mom works at an optical clinic so i'm gonna see if i can get the doc to sign somethin for me. otherwise i'm goin to the dealership tonight and seein if i can order all new windows for my car considering if they say on the glass in that little engraved part what the transparency is then it's considered legal and there's nothin they can do about it. if i can get it from the factory i'd have so much fun if i met up with that smartass cop again. the first cop that gave me the ticket i had no problem with but the last cop just enjoyed givin it to me and was way too happy about having power over me.

i'll let you know if i find a way around it otherwise i'll be without window tint =( i can't keep forkin out the money for more tickets like that even though i like the look of it so much
