Inspection

So i bought my cobalt sedan as a salvage. had some body damage and the radiator broken. Radiator, engine is good to go. Just need some body work and ready. Now i bought injen intake and megan exhaust. I wanted to know if anyone knows what they check at the inspection. Would it still pass if i mod it with the intake and exhaust??

Hey boys and girls. I live in Shakopee, and I was wondering what dealerships in MN you had your stage 2 put on and costs. I've been to 5 dealerships and know one has a clue what is going on.

Keep the intake off until it passes inspection. The exhaust should be fine as long as you bring some papers from the company saying it is DOT legal.

I don't really think the intake would be a problem, you just never know though.

If you ask them if they want the business, they should give their people at Chevy a call and they will tell them everything they need to know.

I'd say just wait and put on your mods after inspection...why risk it?

if you go to friendly chevrolet in fridley they will do it for you. they did all my mods for me that i bought when i got the car except the cold air and plugs. they will do exhaust manifold, stage 2, exhaust. to them it's a sale so why would they turn it down? they are certified to do it and they have techs that know how. i'm actually pretty good friends with pretty much every single person who works the night service team because when i was buyin my car i was in there a lot askin questions gettin things ready for the stage 2 and all and they are all good and trustworth guys. if you go there ask to speak with russ kunzer, he's the main service manager there at night, very good guy

You can try the gas station on rockford road and 169 west on rockford road on the right hand side don't rember the name of the station but they had 110 octane. There might be a station on washinton and west broadway south of BJ stip bar (looks like bee hive) that might have 110 octane also.

it's either 100 octane or 110 but beach's gas station on long lake road in new brighton not too far from the mermain in mounds view has it. my friend's parents own it and i heard they have it there by their air thing on the side of the gas station. i was looking into it when i was considering taking my car to the drag strip so i know for sure they have some sort of racin fuel there

I don't know if they still do, but the Bobby and Steve's station on Central and 40th in NE minneapolis has race fuel on a few of their pumps. I'm pretty sure it's 100 octane if it's still there. Give em a call.

I dont think anyone has ever "spotted" my car. I guess the low pro spoiler makes it look slow.
