Jimmy John's is disgusting. I can't wait until this weekend when I'm in La Crosse and can get one of the best cold subs ever at Lindy's. Turkey, salami, pepperoni, provolone, french dressing, pickles and onions. It's so good I had an ex call me months after we broke up so I could remind her what was on it.

I like how he always attacks me but then NEVER is able to back up anything. He obviously has this brand loyalty. Remember the hahn tune thing?

I know what I know because I talk to real tuners, read way to many posts and do research on products before I buy them. Even area47 called cia out. I even talked to a couple tuners about ALL intakes for the LNF and how they suck ass. He even had to tune his car to get it in proper trims and its STILL not perfect. So before you try calling me out saying I dont know anything, bring some logic and back up to your post.

Well.. why would you buy an intake if it was the same as stock?

huh? Most intakes are thought of as a install, dont worry upgrade. I never said it had to be stock. I said it should be a good intake. Thats why I contacted a company that made intakes for the DI mazda engine, they know wtf they are doing. CIA didnt listen to me when I tried to help them out, **** them. How is fixing a intakes ltft issues by tuning a real intake? thats bologna. They took a easy way to get their intake to the market with out doing more R&D to get it right. And that makes me question ALL of their product line up.

Cuz you're metering more air than a stock intake. That's kinda the point, isn't it? It seems to me, if you change intakes and your fueling hasn't been affected at all, then it's pretty close if not the same as the way it was stock. So.. what's the point?

Koni Racing SS parts we need.

- CF headlight replacementes
- CF lip
- Decent tow hook
- RPF1's in 5x110...I know they'd sell but we need a vendor to ask, I've tried and they dont listen.

no no no. Having more air is fine yes, but the current selection of aftermarket intakes are making the ltft's horrible, the trims are all out of whack. Some do not cause cel's, not right away. Some bog the car randomly. One of the main issues is the MAF on DI cars is much more precise and sensitive, and the air coming in on these intakes is so turbulant the MAF isnt readying the intake air properly.

well at least ottp said they would carry even more time attack SS parts! that lip is coming but dont know about the front splitter. A tow hook would be nice, wtf is up with that...no tow hook on a stock track ready car?

Which intake do you have? All intakes for the LNF all have f'd up ltft's. And they are fixed by tuning. But if someone like gr3yfox or myself that wants to stay stock or gmpp stage1/2 we cant tune it. So YOU post up proof. Just because you dont have a cel now doesnt mean ****.
My car was tuned at Hahn racecraft with HPT with every hahn bolt on then my car was driven around and data logged to make sure everything was perfect, which it is. I wouldn't recommend buying an intake unless you're tuned for it.

I see what you're saying. If the MAF can't meter the air properly because it was poorly positioned, then that is a problem. Hopefully you can find one that works well for you.

Like I said if the LNF with intake is tuned theres usually no issue because tuning can COMPENSATE. When in the last 20 years did a intake need a tune? thats ridiculous specially since some people want to keep their factory warranty. This is most likely the reasoning behind gmpp's stage 2 intake delay. I cant wait to see their intake, I am wondering if it has the air straightener. If I could I would retro fit my cobb sri with air straightener but its not the same size and the breather tube is different. This is why I contacted that vendor to make a real quality product like they should be made.

yup so either I'll just stay gmpp stage 2 or if I can get this vendor to make parts I'll see how they turn out.

Amery Airport Event is 22nd, with 23rd as back up day if 22nd is rained out.

BTW, the modern car list is full so either you can come and watch or help work the event.
