It's going well. I'm nearly unpacked. The only casualty of the move was my desktop won't start up. A new motherboard is on the way already. I was planning on replacing the board in the next couple months anyway.

 

how do you know its the motherboard?

 

It won't post. Everything has power, fans spin up, hard drive spins up, but nothing comes up on the screen and there's no post codes. The motherboard has a documented problem with cold booting.

ah, but did you try unplugging everything but psu, cpu ram? you try reseating the ram? reseating cpu? how about unplugging it for 15 min then trying it again?

You dont know how many times it just needs to be unplugged for 10-15 min, plugged back in and works....

 

Do you think doing that six times is enough? It's still not working. No codes even with the memory removed. I wanted a new Mobo anyway.
