Well, you guys missed a pretty good party. It'd be cool to have a Cobalt meet sometime up in my neck of the woods. There are tons, and I mean TONS of twisties and turns up by me. I took a little cruise earlier this afternoon and found some awesome places. Afterwards, we could do a bonfire or some little shindig. You guys down?

Sidenote: I am lovin the new house. Got most of everything moved in already. Still need to hit up Target and Ikea sometime this coming week. I am typing this from my grandma's house ( she's like just down the road) since we don't have the internet yet. It sucks because up here, Comcast, Qwest, Verison and a few other bigger companies don't offer high-speed internet up here.

Checking with a place called US Cable and I think that is what we'll wind up using. To the tech nerds: any other companies that you'd recommend for my internet connection before I settle with US Cable? I need my internet!

Oh, and DirecTV is being hooked up on September 9th! HD Hockey on my 56" Samsung this year! :drool:

I though I remember you saying something about interviewing players or something and I didnt know if that was just over the phone or in person or what...so with that I didnt know if you had planned out shooting video of these interviews. That lead to me wondering if you were planning on making money of the site.

I think most people make money off sites by advertisements.

Id be down to try some video stuff but im getting to the end of my wanting to do video stuff for others for free because shooting and editing takes up a lot of time.

yeah, i had tons of people want to buy it but everyone turned around and said oh if i had the money i would in a heartbeat... well don't bother me then you're gettin my hopes up

i only have a year and a half left for payments, figure i'll pay it off and keep it as my dd and worry about a vette then. i love the ss anyways and even for a vette i woulda missed it.

i should be able to hit up a meet soon. i just got my car runnin again. the crankshaft position sensor went out and kept flooding my engine and killing it and if it did start it'd have a hard time holding an idle. looked it up on the site and it apparently a super common problem in our cars. i've missed out on a lot lately

 

^ My left output shaft seal just went out , something to also check on your car.

Its between the left axle and the tranny, you'd notice transmission fluid leaking out all over.

 

yikes... i haven't noticed anything leaking so hopefully i'm still okay but i'll have to take a look when i do my next oil change comin up soon.

oh fyi if anyone is free i'm gonna start doing that tuesday night bowling thing again at the mermaid. it's free for 21+ every tues and i think wednesdays now too but it's from 9:30 to midnight and for those who want a drink it's 2 for 1s

 

Also check you left output shaft seal. Mine just went out and is leaking tranny fluid

now that i know i'm keepin my car too i'm gettin it dyno'd at my buddy's family gas station just down the road from my house. they put the mustang dyno in a few months ago but i didn't wanna pay the $60 for 3 pulls if i wasn't gonna keep the car but since i am i might as well find out what it's really got

 

Yup lots make it off advertisements or selling stuff through that cafe site, like shirts you make, mugs, mouse pads etc with your custom logo's.

F YEAH!!! I worked the whole day, only got 2 runs at the end, track was slick as hell because of all the tire rubber from the day. Drivers got 5-7 runs and I still did better than 60% of them. AND I drove this stock off the show floor (nothing taken out), with passenger and 3 cameras. Only mod was a OTTP hardcore rsb.

bah! no not yet. BUT it should. I know you dont want to hear should. I'll seriously test it the next time I see him. It works on my LNF and my escape. The LSJ is odb2 so I dont see why it wouldnt. I'll let u know though.
