Our normal price is lower than anyone else's "normal" price. We cant compete with BB charging 20 less as they make a hell of a lot more revenue that we do. Hey question for you guys about internet, can i take my laptop which is conntected to my internet wirelessly and hook an ethernet cable to it and connect it to my xbox so i will be able to go onto xbox live without buying one of thoose $100 wireless things for the xbox?

 

yes, you need to bridge the two connections and make sure that the live ports arent blocked by your windows firewall. Ive done this for a couple friends already. Oh and you need a cross over ethernet cable from pc to xbox.

Just turn the firewall off. Assuming you have a router with a firewall, the windows firewall is useless. Go to Settings > Control Panel > Network Connections > Right click your wireless > Properties > Advanced > Firewall > Off.

Just make sure the ports needed are unblocked. I can get the ports and post them, but I would like to eat dinner as I missed lunch.

 

I turn Windows Firewall off on every computer I own.

You need to highlight BOTH wifi and lan connection in "network connections" and right click and say bridge. That will share the "internet" between them.
