Yeah it was caged, I knew it wasn't stock and it was sunday morning correct. I could not be there sunday, saw it run saturday it didn't seem super fast for that much power but of course they were only running 1/8th mile, kept up well with some of the cars and some of them walked it. I just heard from other ppl that were their on sunday that said he broke an axle but it just seems like he lost traction and came across which I have heard is what happens to them when they lose traction the pull hard left. And I have no clue if they moved cars back that morning.

That's just what I herd from a group of guys at the street races. I thought they were originally talking about the guy in the dart and then someone said gtr. I figured its just people saying ****. Cant imagine having a 1100hp gtr and then setting up a fundraiser for it lol
And I didn't make up ****. . All I wanted to see was the video lol never herd if anyone got hurt or anything.

Well then plan is to take both control arms out early sunday and pray like we don't have any issues and then my friend will go to his work and press the new ones in, slap it all together along with the powell rotated mount also. Hopefully withon a couple hours start to finish.
Do you know what size the axel nut is?

I wanna punch the dude who commented on my CAB for sale thread saying they didn't come out of my LSJ control arms and they would be solid. my lsj arms I ordered are aluminum and have the gapped bushings and thats the same with the LNF ones I bought. Some people I tell you. May I add they are GM AcDelco parts.

Another thing to consider is that the regular short craftsman sockets are not deep enough to reach the nut. I had to buy an impact socket from NAPA. Funny thing is that I also forget what size I needed... I'll try to remember to check tonight, and I'll let you know.

From what I remember, the axle nut is a different size if you have a SS.

you guys need to come out to autocross events next year. super fun, legal and such an adrenaline rush. did the last scca event of the year today in the rain, and it was still great. ran in novice just because i'm still getting the hang of it. got 2nd out of 12. these balts handle wonderfully around turns with the electronic steering

So I was at the mall dropping off some stuff for work. I pull up to the security shack (they have to swab your vehicle for security stuff for anyone getting into the loading dock) and the security walks up to my car and says that there were only 500 tc sedans made haha and I instantly reply to him, no, there were 474 made haha
He has a tc too. A black coupe hp tuned from shane at DB performance with full bolt ons. It was actually kind of cool running into another cobalt owner who knew sonething about them and had a fully bolt'd and tuned balt.
