I'll put up a larger more detailed map of which ever route we decide on going on
I updated that post...2 is twice as long as 1.

As for radios...You can get pick up some decent ones for $30-$50...
My older ones were kinda wore out so I recently pick up some new Motorola EM1000R. These have a up to 20mile range and were only about $50. My older ones are 5 mile range models but still worked pretty good. Those I can loan out (I have 2) but my new ones will be taken up by myself and P.
Motorola EM1000R up to 20 mile range.
Its not a bad idea to invest in a decent pair if you plan on doing more car cruises over the next few years. The longer the range the better for tours that head out of the metro area and go deep into the back roads. If you like long tours (about 400+ miles) then keep and eye out this summer for some tours I'll post up that have a turn out of all kinds of cars.

Yeah its probably a better idea do stick with Option 1...2 isn't lit at all through the twisties.
Here will be the route (Option 1).
The route is 30 miles long and takes about 1hr.
You'll get the chance to hit up a longer cruise this summer
400 miles baby

I was thinking the same thing
Its no biggy...we had another guy with a 2.2 but I haven't seen him a long while. If you into cars you'll fit in just fine.
