yea and? stage kits are the same thing for 06 and 07 even the stage 3 computers. free will can you explain more on that cause im confused on that part. The computer reads the sensors and uses the tables to give the proper amount of fuel. Processor speed is about the only difference I know. And what happens when gm runs short on parts on a late model year. They start using 07 parts on 06 models just to finish them off. so its possible for late 06 cobalts to come with 32bit processor computers.
I really dont understand the free will part but i do know 07s are more of a pain in the ass to tune vs previous years.

i have 6 different stage 2 maps for two model years. all from gm.
since you seem to know all there is to know about tuning.
explain to me how a car with the exact same cam grinds, require two completely different maps to achieve the same thing.
one is an 06, one is an 07.

look up the gm stage 3 computer for 06 and 07 same part number
different maps can come about from updated flashes from gm to correct there crap ass tunes so people stop coming in for idle issues and such.

go stick a stage 3 pcm in an 07 and see what happens

im not trying to prove anyone wrong. I know a lot about tuning but doesnt mean I dont learn something new every day. but if someone calls me out im gonna use all my knowledge to defend myself. At this point I dont care to argue with him cause this is the internet. so its just a battle of nonsense imo. Im just trying to put a option out there for all the local guys that dont know how to tune them selves get there cars tuned so that they run safe and proper

i dont like seeing misinformation so i thought id post, Luke the owner of beyond redline and knows a **** load when it comes to cars and tuning. I wouldn be afraid to let him tune my car if i didnt do the tuning myself.

well we dont like hearing about peoples cars going bad.... so apparently someone isnt happy with his tuning or someone is spreading misinformed information. So its not my problem. he obviously pissed someone off and needs to solve it or he actually did do something wrong and wont own up to it. Either way someone hears something bad it spreads like wild fire. I never heard of the place till someone told me they arent good and peoples cars break cause of them. So theres something going on up there. I have no ambition to go up there and im sure the majority of people that come to me dont have a idea to go up there either. since my tuning is cheap and they know im doing the best I can

if I could see his stuff first hand I could probably verify and bring truth to the light but Im not about to go to someones business and tell them they fail leme see there work so i can tell if its good or not
