Noice.
And you are running your CX HE inline with the stock HE right?
Did you ever see pics of my final setup?
Mounted
I have a purge line on both the stock HE and the CX HE.
I also fixed the routing for the option b kit. IAT2 temps are MUCH better.
Question.
How much "trickle" effect are you getting from your purge line to your surge tank? You mentioned on your brother's setup that it sort of trickles into the surge tank but on mine it sprays into it.

that should be fine... as long as the flow is consistant then it would be all right... means there is no air in the system...
konis and springs are in on my car... found out my rear tires rub when I hit bumps with the car full of people... gonna look into getting the rear fenders rolled

you called me sir! lol
I ran into a guy at my brothers wedding last night who drove a blue 05 SS/SC w/G85. It was sort of wierd cause he told me he was completly stock and didn't seem interested in modifying his car.
I guess some people just like to drive them.. I got his number so I am going to try to work him until he comes around.

Yeah.
There is a little more info in this thread:
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l-lsj-performance-tech-47/heat-exchanger-124458/
Basically someone contacted CX Racing and asked if that HE was a dual pass unit. They said "No".
So really it just has both the inlet and outlet on the same side. There is nothing inside the HE that makes the coolant flow through the bottom fins or the top fins like a dual pass unit like this.
Notice the welds?
No welds.
No where in there ebay ad did they mention dual pass...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...070901789&rd=1
So yeah. I think that sort of sucks! lol
Im sure some of the coolant still flows from one side to the other. But the path of least resistance would tell me it goes from the bottom port to the top port.
idk? What do you think?
