gm wouldnt be able to tell about his tune but yeah all the wireing and the mounts would and to be back to stock, the supercharger would have to come of spring and the exhaust would be fine, thats not going to effect the motor. but the wires, they would tell you its not covered as soon as he pops the hood, it could be a valve or a blown head gasket, but if the head lifted, unless it reset its self from what i understand if it didnt reset it would not be start-able.

im just going to rebuild it. there no point in me taking it in to get stock pistons put in, there just isnt. im going to blow it up again if i do that. I just got a deal on brand new eagle forged rods for 250 shipped new in box never opened from a member on here. Im talking with the vendors to see who can get me the best deal on pistons and a head gasket.

plans are:

2.8 pulley
60lb'ers
meth
pistons
rods
studs
head gaskets
possibly overbore depending on how bad the sleves are, and if they are as bad as dereks then il get darton sleeves and go even smaller pulley.

clutch and flywheel will need to be installed and this is a perfect time to do so.

the seat that sits in the head and seals the injectors has an o-ring on it. it stretched out and came out breaking the seal causeing a huge vac leak that gave me a subie like sound and rough idle. so the boost either blew it out or it just came out on its own. But the car is seemingly fine now.

yes sir that is the jbp header.... it sounds bad ass...

I wanna note again I appreciate the chance given to me to work on dereks car.... Its been a tough long haul seeing derek upset all the time his car down and then seeing him make a 180 once it started.... im glad that I was able to help.

special thanks to tom and my buddy mario too for stopping by helping me break down the final bugs to get it start.

tomorrow will be a wrap up in getting the car road ready.
