mmmmm 10,000 for a vac mold? that sounds like a cheap ass mold. but anyways. since your using the team rev name without all of our consent are we all going to be getting a portion of the profits. since Team is implying all of us, and all of us team rev guys should be getting a piece of the pie in that case, correct?

i would say correct
try adding another zero to that bro. Sandys Dad owns an injection moulding company. your looking at 100,000 for a mould or more, and a vacuum mould you need a huge ass autoclave. which is not cheap, not even if you know somebody who knows somebody. i think you need to quit, while your ahead, it would be awesome to do what you want to do, but its never going to happen casue money issues and the economy.....and it wouldnt be a product that you could even price in a reasonable ballpark range for any normal preson who onwns a cobalt to buy. yes i pist in your corn flakes once again.....im sorry....

hey its mopar, i was waiting for you to chime in lol. I Think if he keeps this up we all need to get a portion of the profits. this is our club. OURS. not nates. OURS. we all need a say in this. so he needs to stop because hes already making us look stupid for gaining intrest on a product no one will buy because of the productions costs. Im with derek im a injection moulding process engineer (degree in process anyway, apprentice at this time) and that mold might make it 10 cycles before it breaks. Our molds at work are in excess of 500k to 1.5 million to build. and a mold of that size trumps anything we have at my plant. not only that but you need to have the specs and tolerances down to a T.
also, not even include yet, the costs of machine time, materials, a operator to run the machine, and a Process tech (like myself, costing 20/hr+ in labor) to set up and process the machine.
This isnt some **** a dude in his basement can do, you need major funding, and a few dudes saying theyll pitch in 200 bucks or whatever isnt going to near cover the 100K plus dollars that will probably needed to even see ONE production part made. I see first hand this process how products are designed, tested, and produced. Companys make these products for just that fact, they are companies with millions in investors money. not joe blow with the change he found under the recliner when he was looking for the tv remote.

What you guys do/want is up to you, the fact to the matter is, if he ***** up, we are all liable, what it comes down to is this, the name disappears, or i disappear. Done.
if the name isnt changed by the end of this month, the decals are comming off and i will be deleting anything related to Team Rev. I refuse to get caught up in this.
