And no unless its free or really cheap. I can't afford a third car right now. Besides, my goal is to get a z06 as another car in the next few years.

Demolition Derby? Or to enter it into one of those 4 banger races at the local tracks. I could think of a few things. Or to replace my winter car with a slightly better car.

My car isn't exactly winter material. Even with snowies it's not good. That's why I picked up the Evo. All year round fun!

Had to bite the bullet and put new tires on the TBSS, wife hit a board and put an end to my procrastinating on buying them. Picked up some 275/45/20 kuhmo Ectsa stx since they were nicely priced at $140 a piece instead of my other option NTB had at $339 a piece for the stock sized 255/50/20. Its amazing the difference having a good set of rubbers on makes for the handling and feeling of the truck.

I hate buying tires. They are a necessary evil to me.

Has anyone tried these Motivo tires?

Nitto Motivo tires listed by size

They are supposed to be a Ultra High Performance All Season. I don't care about all season tires but they come with a 60,000 mile tread wear warranty which I think is crazy. They got to be hard as rocks, right?

Don't be cheap when it comes to tires. With the power your putting down its nice to have nice set of rubber to help you grip. Those Nitto's are definately harder than a rock. The tread wear rating is 560 on those and mine are 180. With tires like that you should easily be able to spin most of the way through 3rd using the juice.

I am not ready to commit to one yet.

I want to do some dyno testing with some of my new parts. Anyone know if Derek's car is running yet? He might not need his for a while.

Doh!

I have a ported/single pass IM on the way to my house. There are some people who think its a waste of money. I have always said that the stock IM is perfectly fine for the M62. But I think the porting could be very helpful for larger power adders like the TVS.
