yea good ******* luck lol. I was told the Injen wouldn't set off a code but I have been dealing with one ever since and it makes my car drive like poop. Which is why I asked about a tune a page back but I can't **** my extended warranty up. So IDK what the **** i'm going to do.

Well my car drives fine over 2500rpms. But lower then that like when I'm shifting its really bogging(if that is even a word lol). I think I found my issue though. I just can't drive this clutch well lol. I was experimenting the other day and I think I found the clutch nitch. In 1st take off like normal but when you shift to 2 and beyond you pretty have to almost lift all the way off the clutch before you should start hitting the gas. In my other sticks you would have to hit the gas first and then depress the clutch. But it seems with this car is almost the other way around. Now I have been getting better gas mileage and noticing the bogging going away, but not the check engine light lol. It wasn't on in the warmer weather so hopefully its just the cold.

I am running 80's but Eric thinks with my setup I could get away with 60's. This year I will definately need the 80's!!!
I have the perfect intake for you and its cheap. Air box mod is the best bang for your buck. It is simply a stock air box that is trimmed to allow more air to in with the addition of a cone filter. If you want I will sell you mine dirt cheap. BTW my car made 290+whp with this intake.
Have you cleaned your MAF sensor?
I know how and its really easy.
Wrong. Like I said above Eric thinks that I can run 60's with my 2.9 to full revs but it would take some kind of fueling mods to not make the injectors go static in the high revs.

A trifecta tune(tri tune) I winked cuz I'm a dealer for him, ty, jim is turbo if u don't recall or remember, so for his set-up running the boost he wants he needed 80's, and yes u can run 60's to run full E85 but full gains won't b achived without the 80's, unless like ty said u do fuel delivery upgrades

I hit 95% IDC at 7k with a 11.8afr.
And a 2.9" E85 is a very nice setup. The car will pull hard and not require all the cooling mods that a 2.7" or 2.6" pulley would need. And the idle is better with 60s then 80s.
But a 2.6" does pull harder.

What kind of beer do you like?

I bet he'll sell it to you for $30 lol but don't quote me on that. Oh and it won't throw a CEL because its your stock intake just modified. So all the positions of things that matter are already in the right places. I still have my stock intake so if this one keeps giving me the CEL I might have to do the airbox mod to mine as well. But I really don't want to have to do that as I have already spent money on this Injen.

Oh, well im no expert but i know that usually if you dont disconnect the battery before installing something like an intake than the ecu gets all messed up because of the air readings.
#3924
That could be with stock. But I was under the understanding that stage 2 cobalts should be able to handle it because of the tune being able to fix itself. Or at least that's what I've heard.

$10 but you will need to buy a filter. I can give you the part number for the filter that I used with it. To clear up the CEL thing with intakes. It usually happens because of oiled filters. If there is too much oil on the filter and it gets on the MAF sensor it will throw a code.
Your next mod should be an Interceptor guage. We need the code that the car is throwing so we can help you out. Interceptor's will not only show you a lot of different parameters but it allows you to see what codes your car is throwing and then you can delete them.
Pretty sweet guage if you ask me.
We know that it wont work on my car because I rev it just high enough to make the IDC's hit triple digits.
Also not hating on strazdice but from what I have seen with LSJ's the trifecta tunes aren't as good as HPT tunes. LNF's are a different story.
No I have not cleaned it but I'm not sure that is the problem. Maybe because of the oiled air filter IDK. The car is driving fine now that I have figured this clutch out lol. The check engine light went away the other day and just came back on yesterday. So its pretty sparatic on when its on or off. I guess when I have all the headlights and all the **** off I'll see if I can clean it then.
Pretty sweet guage if you ask me.
I think you can do it on the stock fuel system. Here is the setup on my car.
