Your next mod should be an Interceptor guage. We need the code that the car is throwing so we can help you out. Interceptor's will not only show you a lot of different parameters but it allows you to see what codes your car is throwing and then you can delete them.
Pretty sweet guage if you ask me.

We know that it wont work on my car because I rev it just high enough to make the IDC's hit triple digits.

Also not hating on strazdice but from what I have seen with LSJ's the trifecta tunes aren't as good as HPT tunes. LNF's are a different story.
So even if i got an injen intake as long as i use a dry filter it should be fine?

Yep but why spend $200 on something that works just as good as a product that will cost you $10.

Here is some food for thought for you.

This is what my car made using a airbox mod. Eric can vouch for me.

Complete mod list:

ZZP midlength header/downpipe (no cat)
Stock catback with electirc cutout
Airbox mod
80# injectors
2.9 pulley
E85 with 23* of timing

If you total that up I spent just a touch over $1000 which includes a tune to get those numbers. Not bad hey?

Not bad at all. I want to get my **** tuned but I don't want to give up my warranty. So I might have to get a second PCM just for that.

My last name is Beck and I almost bought some last time I was at the liquor store lol. I plan on doing them when I can get someone to help me lol. As I just don't trust myself with wiring and if someone else has already done it on the cobalt that's already one step further.

The sound is there and it looks just fine in there. Its fun watching peoples faces when you pop the hood after beating them and they see nothing but a stock motor!

With the Air box mod you definitely hear more of the supercharger whine.

I did, my friend is pretty good with wiring but it still turned out no good. We got my boost gauge hooked up but its terribly inaccurate. I dont want wires running around id rather pay to have them professionally installed by someone who knows what their doing.

I'm assuming any shop that installs electronics could do it. Like maybe a car stereo place? Where do you live?

East Troy, south eastern wisconsin. Most places are only good with stereo wiring the gauges you have to know what engine components and how to hook them up.

What gauges did you install? You must have installed an aftermarket boost gauge if it isn't working right because the stock one is easy.

Just fyi. The old Hall Chevrolet dealership on North Ave. in tosa has a lot of the same GM techs. Its Hall service center and auto body collision. I think they bill like 50$ an hour, but I'd rather pay 50$ than 40$ to have the work performed by a tech that is GM certified. Just if anyone needs a good service center for GM vehicles.
