Does anybody know the red SS coupe with blacked out rims (s/c) style that totaled out today in door county? Sounded like a pretty serious accident.

 

If anyone has a spare 2007 ss sc pcm for sale please let me know. I'm turbo swaped so I'm sure if I bring my car into the dealer warnty will be voided so mine took a dive while tuning and I need one asap.

they'll find that one out the hard way lol. My guess is they bought an extended warranty, but then why would you turbo swap and all that lol??

So I went into Import Tuner yesterday to just see if maybe they could dyno tune my car instead of me having to get the wideband and the HP tuner ****. But no!!!! I guess I would have to get the HP tuner software and cable and pay for the credits and then pay hourly to have his tuner who has never tuned a cobalt EVER to tune my car lol Well I guess I'll start to piece things together.

Does anyone local need some 225/40/18s? I have two pretty nice Goodyear Eagle F1 All Seasons and two not so good General Exclaim UHP tires.

I FINALLY replaced the tires on my sky wheels with some 245/40s.

Ok does anyone here know where to get a new K04 for a solstice GXP?

My turbine fins seem to be missing a few of their corners. So if anyone knows where I can get one before next weekend, I'll be at home and I'll have the opportunity to swap the turbo.

I saw a yellow TC with low mikes on autotrader but didn't have the PF01 wheels. The first pic on this ad shows the front end paint difference.

 

Ha, I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. There was no damage on my car after the front fenders, so I bet that's where they stopped painting. In all honesty, I'm surprized somebody actually fixed this car up, but I'm glad to see it. I loved this car so I hope someone else gets to enjoy it too. They should, the car comes with YYZ springs and GMS1 already .

Haha, well the interior and seats should be in pristine condition. I conditioned those things like twice a year lol. Yeah the rotors look rough. I suppose that'll happen when you don't give everything time to cool down after a hard run...

 

Car has 40k on motor 100k power train warnty. I've had a few things done over the years at gm dealers. Also I figured it was worth a shot to go in an ask. An why a t-lsj because racecar and I wanted to do it.

 

Or 5 years which ever comes first and 2012 has already since passed.

Ya the only reason they won't touch it is because. I turboed it lol. Just wanted to here them say voided lol. ( or maybe they dont care got the car from a small lot with 20k on motor 4 years ago. When stock never had an issue most things I got covered. Guess oshkosh gm dealer dont care lol

 

Haha, I assume you're taking it to Bergstrom? I've had them do work on the car even when it had mods on it, they didn't care.

 

Yea in WI they have to prove that the aftermarket part caused the issue for it to not be covered. So if say you put an intake and a exhaust on and the motor blew, they would have to prove that it was the intake or the exhaust that did it. If not then if it has a warranty it will be covered.
