Thanks Eric, and prob not til the end of September. I have a few maintenance thing to fix on the car. My vss sensor is on the fritz and needs to be fixed asap (114$) dealer only friggin part. Need to replace front rotors cause some how I warp the passenger side one, and then I still need to do my return line system and the longtube header, that's all in the works still just been really busy with doing work on my parents house painting flooring ext ext and finding time between that and work has been rough this past month,And also I was driving around taking the x wife and her bf places for a week too in-between that til we where able to fix the fuel pump on her Malibu for it took a **** but, I'm almost done with the stuff on the house so I'll have the time to put into the car more. Plus funds where tight for awhile too. I should have most the money to get thing rolling in a few weeks thou.

 

You should have used the money you spend on the hood fixing your car.

hey, Ill be visiting some of my old buddies out in waukesha the 25-30 of aug and well prolly be hitting up the long awaited hwy 100 friday night.. havent been there for almost a year since i moved to iowa.. if youre going to be out there that night PM me so we can meet up.. i might have a dejon SRI intake for sale.. not sure.. but yeahh..

 

I know, I Know...I just couldn't pass up an rksport carbon fiber hood for 250$... The rotors and vss I have to buy, the other stuff is being custom made or put together by me and sandy and her bf. It's going to cost me a third of list price for the return line and longtube by making it instead of buying it from a vendor..

Note FYI, for anyone that is planning on coming to hwy. Make sure you have proof of insurance on you or in your car at all times for it's state law now and title and reg. If you get pulled over for anything and you don't have proof of insurance on you, the Citys of Greenfield and West Allis will now impound your car, and hold it til you have proof of insurance. I had it happen to someone I know last weekend. So I'd hate to see a non local to the milwaukke area get pulled over and have there **** impounded. Another FYI for hwy, Greenfield and west allis can now also go into each others citys to persure people on hwy 100, so if you see a greenfield cop on the boarder they can now follow you into the next city and not have to have a reason why either, so dont think when you pass the city boarders your safe cause it no longer applies. just thought i'd give everyone a heads up.

Yeah GLD. im not sure i stuck working 12's all week out of the blue so maybe not this week. I would deff be interested in next week or planning something we can get a couple guys to do after work since they go 5-10 i think during the week.

I plan on pulling the motor again one of these days. I'm going to replace the steering rack while I'm at it. Purchased a set of winter tires on rims from tire rack. Cobalt is offically going to be kept. I'm all payed off in spring. I plan on buying something v8 and rwd in spring. Not sure if I want to buy something I have to make payments on or something I can pay for in cash. I really want a tbss, g8gt, new 5.oh! But having something that is payed for is so much better. I feel comfy taking my time. So many choices.

In other news, i took 2nd place at the Kenosha Engine Plant Car show for 1980 and newer cars. The trophy is a 2.7L Rod and Piston with a Clock in the Crank journal. It looks badass!
