got a couple questions/opinions from you guys,

well first ive been thinking about going wingless.... yes wingless, but im torn cauz i feel the spoiler makes it an ss. I had a buddy just do a quick chop of the wing in photoshop and i like it with and without, so im lookin for some more opinions on that.

Secondly this spring/early summer i wanna do the trifecta tune and with that do you think it would be a good idea to get the ottp stage 1 Rotated Trans Mounts, and would there be a need for a stage clutch since ill be putting down a lot more power and dont wanna **** my tranny

 

If you want to see wingless in person you can come take a look at my car. I like it a lot more and it keeps me from getting unwanted attention from the po po. Plus as an added bonus we can do a friendly run! I am stock ride height right now though and already have my snowies on the car.

Oh yeah, by the way, have you run into the white wingless evo with blacked out rims on Hwy? He has some work done. Nice Pedobear by the way!

We will let him get the trifecta tune first though.

A few people have tried to make tail lights like mine but I don't think anyone has finished them. Mind if I ask what you are doing for a tail light setup?

Hopefully without the gatorade bottles though! I don't take forever when I make my custom stuff. I built my headlights in 3 days when I did my retro fit. I'm just waiting on the last set of LED halo's to come in and it begins. I think it is safe to say that I will have them done within the next week. If I remember correctly I thought your outsides looked like they were CCFL's?

Sorry, I totally derailed the thread from your questions. I like the wingless look. Buy yourself a trunk from a bone yard and save yourself a lot of filling and painting if you do decide to do it. I think I paid $200 for the wingless trunk I picked up. About the mounts, they are probably a good idea. I would have done it already but I was cheap when i did my motor swap and really didn't have the money to buy them at the time anyway so I just poly filled mine. The mounts had to cure for almost two weeks to be solid but the car was torn apart already anyway so it didn't really matter. Since I have done that though I don't have wheel hop anymore really. If you did want to see an SS wingless though I can meet up with you so you can check mine out.

Yup he is BlackTVS here too. I just hope someone doesn't get hosed by him before they do ban him. The fact that he is selling parts on here and the picture of the parts have his "real" name shown as Dave. I should should punch him in the mouth just for using that name.

well i finally ordered the last of the part is need to finish my retro-fits. And im trying out ZZP's Blow-off valve as mine has seen better days.

 

Woooo cobalt time

 

Been a while since I've checked in here.... was racing alot all summer. While I was in my chevelle (which we just pulled the motor and I should be going low 10s in the quarter soon ) at Byron Dragway, my cousin raced my bone stock Cobalt LT in street class, which she won 1 race and finished in the top 10 in points... On a good day the car ran 16.50s on a hot muggy day about 17.0s. I can't afford to give it more power until i'm closer to paying it off, so I'm happy with what it ran.

Hope everyone's holiday was great, and hopefully next time theres a meet n greet... i could make it out.

i wish we could do a winter meet but i know i wouldnt wanna stand outside talkin n lookin at cars when its -30. lol and MPG is down kuz its winter
