ok well now that i had the chance to take the g8 out for a lil spin...heres what i think...**** YEAH!! its slow and pokey in regular drive but hit the sport mode and it screams and tries to shred the tires...love the sound of it love the feel of it...the steering wheel and the seats are amazing the layout takes some getting used to esp the radio...nothing like any other gm products but VERY similar to the GTO...deb youd feel right at home inside it

60 dollars, thats more than I get in a week, plus 10 dollars to get into the show and food costs for the day? There's no way I can afford that without selling something

It would be cool if you came down man.....gas shouldn't be THAT bad.

Word of advice though.....gas is A LOT cheaper here in Jersey, so hold off on filling up before you get to Jersey if you do decide to come Keep me updated......go donate some sperm....there's $50 right there

I don't have a job bro, and I wont until at least the end of next month.

Currently I get 50 dollars a week that's rationed from my college loan, so i can buy food and gas

If I don't eat or drive anywhere for two weeks, yeah i can afford it, but I might die in the process

Haha well I did some basic math:

253 miles there, 253 miles back

500 miles total, at 28mpg, that's 18 gallons of gas, then I rounded up to 20 because I don't plan on driving like an old man when I get to NJ

20 gallons at 3.4 dollars a gallon, that's 68 bucks.

PLUS 10 dollars for the show, PLUS whatever food I have to eat

Like I said, if someone wants to buy something from me, I can afford it.

I've got an XBOX 360 for sale, a copy of halo 3, and that's pretty much it

I'll bring you a protein shake, lots of slow digesting casein protein to last you the ride home.

never understood why college students can't get jobs...unless they do a lot of sports and stuff or something (ie, my gf is a bio major looking to be an orthopedic surgeon, while on 2 cheerleading teams and in a school fundraising organization...but even SHE works every chance she gets)

I'm working on my second degree, with 2 jobs...maintaining a 3.8GPA. are kids really getting this lazy, or is there some legitimate excuse?
