I think all the Cobalts should meet up somewhere nearby and we should all cruise in there together

 

come back to fishkill or meet over in newburgh i know of a few ppl we can have crusie down there!

thats the plan hack for those of us up north we're gonna meet up at a few stops along the garden state parkway and cruise down together

OK FOR EVERYONE NORTH OF THE SHOW THAT WANTS TO BE IN THE CRUISE!!!!

This is the tentative plan so far and im not sure what the times are gonna be yet so bear with me...

1st stop - Palisades Center Mall - (exit 12 off the Thruway) this is for all of you coming from east of the Hudson River. Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, CT, MA, RI etc.)

OR

1st stop - Newburgh Mall (exit 17 off the Thruway) For all of you in Upstate NY as well as those of you coming from northern PA

2nd stop - Montvale Service Center on the GSP (Mile Marker 171) this is going to be the first rest stop when you get on the Parkway from the Thruway and where the 2 "1st stops" will meet up...and just to remind people there is NO GAS available at this stop.

3rd stop - Brookdale Service Center (Mile Marker 153.3) This is for everyone along the GSP and will prob be the ideal location for everyone coming from LI and PA via Interstate 80 (about 6 miles south from there)

Getting off the Parkway at exit 130 (no stop)

4th stop - Menlo Park Mall on Route 1 south

Then obviously we will be ending up at On The Border

Jersey people can just pick which stop is most convenient for them if they wanna join in

Lets see if we can get a list going for whos gonna meet up where and ill figure out what times will work for us to get to the show by 10 at the latest

PS in order for this to work effectively there needs to be communication between everyone and most importantly ya gotta be at your stop ON TIME!! and make sure you are in a visible area near the main road so we can find you

 

add the 1st stop the newburgh mall.. its right by the entrance to the nys thruway and its gonna tkae forever to get to otb lol

if i don't go down the night before ( which i plan on doing) then i'll be with 0redline6

Can I also make another suggestion? I know the last 'cruise' ended up being a bit of a fiasco, so maybe for this one we could assign someone as the 'pack leader.' I know this works for alot of other car clubs.. one car is the assigned leader and NO ONE is allowed to pass that car. The front car just cruise controls/maintains a decent speed and everyone else tails behind. What happens behind the leader is up to everyone in the pack but my everyone staying behind the leader no one can get lost or not be able to keep up.
