are you talking about the park or the dunkin donuts? the park we should be ok, theres a long grass area next to the soccer field which should be good for like 50 or so cars.

as for dunkin donuts, we may have a problem if everyone goes there afterwards.

i think the want a be wapp cops might have a small problem with 40 plus more cars then normal there. they already tow peolpe for being there after either 10 or 11pm.

i was talking about the parking situation at the park. im hoping there is actually asphalt to park on as opposed to grass. i've never put any of my cars on the grass on purpose before and i'd rather not start with my brand new ss/tc

 

from the last time i was down there it was half n half so idk if they paved it all or left it the way it was...imo i think we should go there an post pics of the area to give ppl an idea of what it looks like

 

yea if you could get back to me on the parkign situation that'd be great. i dont want to be the first one there just so i can get a good spot

 

hers the situation for the park. the soccer fields unfortunetly are the only thing left for me to reserve. and they are at the end of the park. there is a gravel/dirt road that goes down to the fields. and theres is some grass areas that everyone uses for parking down there. i was just down there on saturday to take a look, and it is fine. no pot holes or anything to damage a car and im very **** about were i drive me car also. if you want to park in a paved area you will be parked along ways away from everyone. You can take my word for it that its OK.

but if it make people feel better i can try and get down there saturday for some pics. they have the fence to the fields closed during the week.

i will do my best to get down there unless someone else can get down there before me. some help would be great.

 

Maybe someone could zoom in on an aerial map like the one on the first page to show us which field it is and where we would be parking? Then you wouldn't have to go out of your way to take pictures.

right now theres a lack of people participating and thats just not acceptable

theres like 10 ppl registered so far and the first 50 get comped by GM

since i cant fiqure out how to get the zoomed in map on here i'll use this one and try to explain. The fields iam talking about or in the bottom left of the pic next to the water. it says dutchess county bowdoin park. you see the two baseball fields. the soccer fields a right underneath the words. Theres a road that runs the length of that, which you can kind of make out. we will be parking on either side of the road, but i was thinking of the left side. and this will be right across from the field we will be using. So i hope that helps out alittle.

hopefully they try to have a srt4 meet there the same day on another site and we show em up to be honest someone should become a member of a srt4 forum and tell them they need to get there for a srt4 meet the same day were there and we just show theese guys up!

idk where you see this meet but i am a member of srtforums and i dont see anything... there isnt a huge srt4 base around here so i doubt it but there wont be room for them anyway.... cuz we have everything.... ill go take some pics tomorrow for all you... i donno y you wont par in the grass.... not like its a muddy swamp or soemthing and if ur worried about dust bring a car duster.. its not a show just a meet lol... i parked in grass before trust me your tires wont get grass stained

gravel road means gravel kicking up. you need to roll at like 2 mph to keep the ground on the ground and not bouncing off the car. i guess i will be hoping on grass

 

dude it really isnt that bad, i drove down that road saturday, yes driving slow is better, but the speed limit in the park is like 10mph. drive the speed limit and your fine. most of the park is pavement just down by the fields are that way.
