Fail #2: he drag races it - He raced it ONCE.
Fail #3: FMIC on a stock turbo - New g20 in the mail, new injectors in the mail, bigger fuel pump already installed.
Fail #4: horrible FMIC setup, the bumper will block most, if not all, the air flow to it. - Grill is cut out.. FMIC is fully visible.
Yeah, it released alot more pressure than I thought it would.. watching the fuel trims on his tuner software I notice the car runs real rich at intial throttle and tapers back 0.0%... I expected that so it needs to be tuned out. He also needs to play with his Perrin BPV to adjust the spring pressure... had a tad bit of surge.
The turbo lag is not really noticeable with this setup.

That fmic comes with a new crash bar though it may not be as BIG as the stocker is certainly feels as strong. THe IC is bolted to it on top. Its the thin bar going across. It is made of two hollow tubes welded together and bolts to the factory crash bar mounts. I dont think its that big of a deal since the IC was never there in the first place and can also participate as a crashbar
The funny thing is he is on the stock TD04 and his turbo used to make 17.5psi with the stock tmic, but it makes only 15psi at the most with this one.. lol. He might be able to tune it back to 17.5psi but I doubt it. He's still making the same power at a lower psi now.

Just got a message from him saying the coolant cover popped off.... the new tank used the factory cap. I know he didn't have much coolant to begin with either... he bought a knock off turbo xs. Some fabrication required

because i'm lowered and have the rotated tranny mounts on..... the exhaust is all jacked up and doesn't fit like it should. so when i have a resonator added to kill the drone i'll have them adjust the way it hangs in the exhaust tunnel and over the axel and the in the bumper cutout.

sigh.... anyone know where you can find a coolant overflow tank cap?
Pretty big ******* problem with doing these front mount swaps is they make you reuse the factory cap.... problem is they pop off while your driving.... and they dont sell and after market cap...

i made my exhaust and i don't even have problems like that hahah plus your dp has a flex join i don't see how that or rotated trans mounts even effect you exhaust. the only issues Ive heard of is hitting the rear axle but that can be fixed with an extra hanger..

it's hitting in the exhaust tunnel under the car, the over axle section isn't being held up high enough (hitting the axle) and the muffler isn't sitting right in the bumper.
if YOU can do welding, pipe bending, etc..... we need to talk.
