It takes away the fun of driving. IDK, just never have been a auto guy, nor ever will be.

Having a manual helps prevent theft as well.

Thats true. I've had both, just too lazy to shift these days. Although I barely drive so it really shouldn't matter. Oh well, lazy kid for life!

no way a stock one of those things is handling that much.......you sure? lol. if thats the case i need to do an auto swap. however id rather have the gearing i do with the 4.45 and manual is better for track days.

auto is best for drag, manual for track days, depends on what you do more lol. or you can just get an auto with a reverse valve body like i did and then you still have to shift, just with no clutch for slow responses :P lol

I thought the autos were 250hp? Cuz I did notice the difference when I was looking at them.

And were those races stock for stock? figured the Cobalt would pull more lol.

Basically. I have the downpipe and exhaust on a stock tune(so exhaust isn't doing much) and obviously a passenger. He was bone stock and by himself.

Nahhhh sadly only 235. Which still makes no sense because the GM stage 1 bumps it right up with the 5spds to 290....silly GM.

Yea that's odd. So factory tune is way generous lol.

I'm surprised he kept up that well.

lol! I saw your video racing a 6.0 GTO. And that was stock turbo. I don't see myself going that far. I'll be happy fully bolted and tuned.
