We will see, last I heard from Zoomer was yesterday and that he said I am probably right and to let him talk to his turbo tech. Hopefully they get back asap. think I'm going to try and pick up a tbss by Monday though.

Good luck, man. Found another white TBSS? I wish they had made GTO's in white.

There is one in white and one in black I like. But the one in white is 07 with 20k more miles but they want 2k more, and I'm just going to be like look, 18900 and I'll be down Monday to pick it up. They keep trying to beat around the bush saying come drive it first, and I'm like no, I'm two hours away, in not making the same trip twice, if I come, I want to know I'm buying it the same day.

oh I need a new clutch too. The one I have super slips anything before 3500rpms, in any gear outside of 1st lol. Im just still on the stock clutch, ive been babying it its whole life, no flooring it until im over 3800rpms.
I know its still good cause if I do a 5th gear flooring at 2000rpms on the stock tune, it holds fine.

been busy with work and stuff....... and getting highly annoyed/pissed off with the HHR.
anywho, i think we need to seriously start working out the details of a meet this summer. i'm thinking the options are a track day at Cecil, dyno day at RPM or bbq at a park. what y'all think?

I will participate I think. I need to get my DE plates reallllll soon. I just picked up the license the other day. I see that DE MVA says they go with the NADA value of the car or the selling price which evers higher. What does that mean? Looks like NADA for my car in good condition is like $11k

matt, whats wrong with the HHR? at least your not in my shoes, i havent really told anyone but the TBSS is already down, has been for some time now lol. notorious spun bearing so it got torn down and should be about buttoned up sometime this week. bored and decked the block, upgraded lifters and relocated the pickup tube to avoid this problem again. so now it might be time for some spray and get this 4900lb truck in the 11s lol. cobalt has the turbo off, i sealed a banjo bolt with sealant at work to pressure check the coolant system without the turbo.........still loses pressure so time for the head to come off ;( hoping its just a head gasket but i doubt it.
joe, pretty much what that means is your going to get raped and spend a few hundred to transfer tags to DE.......granted i went with black tags on the TBSS and cobalt but both still ran me around 1100 to transfer. ******* schmucks.

Hahaha yeah man. Can say my Balt has been great to me but I also do something new to it once a month haha.
Hope you get them both patched up soon and stay problem free for awhile.

after this motor is put back together it will be fine. all the weak links will be taken care of on it, trans, lifters and shitty pickup design. so i will officially be done with the weak links on it. maybe i will get lucky with the cobalt and catch a ******* break for once.
