GOOD MORNING, how is everyone doing? i'm doing ok, i'll be calling the dealership for sure before lunch, if what they told me monday is true.... then they worked on my car tuesday and wednesday and of course this morning. so..... i'm think it should be done either this afternoon or definately tomorrow. and it figures i left my orange vitamin water and my left over honey bbq boneless wings from applebee's in the fridge, i need to make sure i text my brother & my dad and tell them not to eat em

Welp no shows for me and I think that I am done modding the cavalier. After the hassle with the kit I have lost interest. The kit still wont be done and now they're acting like they dont want to touch it.

He actually asked me about buying new bumpers. I guess there are issues with mine? I have too much money into this and I think it's time to cut losses and stop.

Hell I had no car for almost 2 MONTHS on a job that was quoted 2 WEEKS and Lance's vette was at a shop in NY for 4 months supposedly getting 'redone' and they didnt really do **** and never re-cleared the hood! These shops dick around because they can...if ya still want it painted get it to Powerz at least you know it will be done in a timely fashion

ha yeah it never stops tho, the modding bug is always there its like a disease. I got rid of my cav and just starting dumping $$$ into a new car.

i wouldn't mind powerz doing them, I just don't feel like traveling 2 hours one way just to get a couple things painted. If it were the whole car then I would consider it but for just a couple bumpers and skirts no thanks.

you want to sell the kit then? is it just a complete lip kit or are the front and rear actually complete bumpers? if it is just a lip kit, then you can sand them down, primer and paint them yourself. grab some cans of the duplicolor and paint them black.

Thats the problem now, they have rattlecan blue on them and thats they're issue. I guess it's too much work for them to sand the **** off. I don't understand why they just couldn't spray on a sealer primer, and paint.

that shop is a bunch of douche bags! dude, go get them from that shop. i'll meet up with you this weekend and i'll take them down to Powerz for you. that's ridiculous. and i'm serious about taking them down to him.
you can easily sand that down and primer over it and then paint..... those guys are just too effing lazy.

there was some body work that needed to be done too them, but in all honesty if they could just hit it with some sealer primer, and put a base coat and clear on it then I would be just as happy.

the front bumper I guess someone bumped a curb and it flaked off some paint, and the rear had a couple indents from where someone bumped into it. the sides are brand new.
