yea, i'm about to just sell all my parts, sell the car. buy a really nice Huffy and be happy
but in all seriousness.... i'm been really thinking about "slowing down" and getting my priorities straightened out. yea i love this Cobalt, its a sweet car but the modding temptation is always going to be there. right now i can thinking of 2 or 3 vehicles that i'd love to have right now that would help with the "slowing down" process. but i guess the modding temptation will always be there, its in my blood. so i have absolutely no freaking clue as to what i want to do anymore.

I am seriously just about to call this car quits and start parting it out. Sometimes it's just not worth it too have a modded car. I think it's just not meant to be for me, between it taking forever for the paint, it getting trashed from the road tar and what not, and now with the paint coming off, let alone the issues the car itself is having.
good moring all!
Yo rally, how hard is it to get the belt off the pulley on our supercharger? You said you can do it, do you have an actual tool, or do you use a wrench or something?

as far as the belt goes, i have some tools but what has always worked for me is a very big socket and large screwdriver. put the socket on the tensioner and use the screwdriver for leverage.... kind of difficult to explain on here, i'm better at showing things

i'll be sure to put the case in my car, just incase the next i'm up that way i'll swing by or meet up with ya'll.
well this time it needs a new timing chain tensioner, they should have the part by the end of the week, hopefully they'll have the parts & my car friday and done before i get out of work.
i'm not sure who is coming from Edgehill, i sort of just said i was going on the 24th if anyone was interested, i'm gonna try to get out of work a little early so i can be there when they open the gates.

gates open at 5, racing begins at 6. if i'm there by 5, that'll give my car time to cool down. also i want to try to clean out my car before i go there, so i'll run home and do that and then could be up there by 5.

Sorry the wheels are already spoken for on a 08 tC. I am going to go on monday to get the parts looked at. I snapped a couple pics so you can see whats wrong. I am sure they'll fix the rear but the front might not be as good since the headlights rest on it, and I think thats what wore the paint away.
