Hey whats good!

ya my weekend was aiight, it sucks going back to work lol.

Yo just a side bar, but my car feels fast as crap! Yo for anyone w/ a modded SS/SC, reset your computer now that its gotten cold, for some reason, my car feel MUCH faster since I reset it Saturday It didnt get fast right away, but after about an hour or 2 of driving I was like O_o

Almost want to head back to the track! Oh, I did totally clean out my TB too, might have helped, cause it was dirty as ****!

Ya man, I havent reset mine in a good year. My car is even quieter now, it idles smoother and quieter, and when I floor it from say 40 in 3rd, there is alot more power, and I dont have that terrible exaust noise any more. Also, low end power is way up, its weird that something that simple can make such a difference.

Probably not, my bad. My entire weekend is JP'ed so, I dont think I will have the time

What you going to do?

Oh and I side question. One of the reasons I reset my battery was because I was out with my boy, and we raced a modded Z06 corvette and a SRT-4 (I lost to both) (Z06 was insane fast, like I floored first, and he passed me in less then a second LOL) (SRT4 was much closer, but he pulld a good car and a half) Well after that, I was just cruising and out of nowhere, I looked down where the MPG and milage show, and it said "ENGINE PWR REDUCED" and my car was acting all fucked up, and I could hit hte pedle, and the RPM's wouldnt go up. I ended up getting to a light and had to shut my car off like 3 times, the 3rd time I waited like a minute before it went away. Now its acting fine, I just dont know what would have caused that. I did pull a CEL from it, but I dont remember what it was, I think it was like P0060 or something.

your car went into LIMP MODE, it was a good thing you cleaned of the TB & reset the computer, you should be fine. i'm not exactly sure one why it would do something like that but that's exactly what it sounds like.

It has me contemplating stripping the car down now or not. they're actually calling for snow showers tonight and tomorrow night, so I might go ahead and get it ready for winter.

good morning man, yea it is very cold out. i dropped the SS/SC off at the dealership this morning, hopefully they'll have it in today. they are replacing the timing chain tensioner and checking out my shifter & the backing of driver seat. the cap on the shifter (with the shift pattern engraved on it) popped off last week, so i'm seeing if that is a "warranty" part and maybe get a new shifter. and when i'm sitting in my driver seat in my right shoulder blade/rim area the metal framing of the seat is sticking out a little bit (it happened on my Cobalt LS and they replaced the back of the seat) so i'm hoping they'll order that. i just really want my seat back replaced, as for the shifter i'm considering buying a short shifter anyways but if they replace it then i'll just hold off on that.

Got a good point on that there. Yeah it must be a GM thing with always needing to be repaired. Almost seems like they're turning into fords lol. in 4 weeks I had a crank position sensor go bad, a coolant temperature switch go bad, and a check engine light for my rear o2 sensor.
