HELL NO! Not with all the aftermarket stuff in that car...there is no way its going near a dealership. They don't have respect for peoples stuff. We know whats wrong with it...its just a matter of getting it fixed. Its got a parking light short to ground...most likely something is pinched somewhere or something.

you dont have alot of aftermarket stuff done to the car, it's all exterior mods. it very well could be a serious electrical problem. but good luck, like i said last week, i hope it isn't anything crazy.
oh and as for the "they dont have respect for peoples stuff" comment.... that completely depends on the dealership/shop. i've worked with some guys that wouldn't give 2 ***** about your car.... but i was the kind of guy that would take good care of "special" vehicles.

uhhhhhhhhhh I guess you havent seen my interior lately and the crap ton of wires that were ran for my audio system. Thats why a dealership is not touching my car. The most likely cause is that a wire was pinched during install or something. It was fine before the audio stuff...now its not. It hasnt been driven at night since we got it back sooooo I am about 99% sure it was caused by something EC did and not a serious electrical problem.

well hopefully EC wired up the audio stuff correctly and didn't blow anything. i know how some installers do when working with car audio.... "oh that wire looks good to tap into" next thing you know the electrical system goes retarded. you said the parking light fuse blew?

sounds like they tapped into a certain wire that caused alot more load to run thru the fuse. i would simply just try a higher wattage fuse.... and go from there. might have to have EC redo the car audio wiring.

we tried a higher wattage fuse...that blew too
They say they didnt tap into the parking light wires. Paolo called them this morning and they said they've got a guy on it. If they dont fix it by the end of the day I am going to pick it up and Paolo is going to fix it at work tomorrow...I am just going to have to pay for it. He said he sees stuff like this all the time.

wow, if a bigger fuse blew too, maybe they have 2 seperate wires touch'n that are runnin 2 diff currents. Best of luck, might be safest to just have him rip tha whole system wires out and rerun them.
Matt, I read that u were think'n about a sound system in ur car sometime, what kind are u try'n for? Lightweight or bass?

well.... not as much anymore. right now i'm trying to figure out if i'm even going to have this car another year. but if i were to do a sound system, i'd get a Pioneer shallow mount 10" sub to replace the factory sub and then get a separate amp for the new sub. i'm way more into performance now..... now 5 years ago.... that's a different story. and i have pictures to prove it.

Car is fixed...I hope lol. Not sure exactly what the problem was (paolo was on the phone with them and he never told me!), but they ran and inline fuse and something else. I ordered another battery for the audio system b/c the one I have now is taking too much stress. So hopefully I can get it through inspection today...then get the new battery/wiring stuff done before carlisle next weekend.
Heading to Englishtown this weekend for Sport Compact Spring Nationals...anyone else gonna go? Car show/drag racing=good times!
oh and pics of said system can be found here http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3237010 They arent the greatest pics...looks a ton better in person w00t!
