so.... you have a set of SRT4 rims (beater rims?) and a new set of 18s? (the multi-spokes?)

so i did have a spun bearing. my friend said the nut that holds the connecting rod to the crankshaft was in the oil pan and the rod bearing got loose and the bearing got melted to the crankshaft. i dont know how the **** that **** happend tho. but he got the rods on the new crank shaft and my old block is being used since its still good. but matt, i think ort forgot to include an ass load of stuff in the boxes

well you did get a great deal for all those parts. yea you'll definately want to upgrade the clutch & flywheel.... i'm not exactly sure what the power rating is for the SS/SC clutch but i would honestly think that would be a good/inexpensive route.

you should get the head you got from him ported & polished... that combined with the upgrade up top internals would be nasty!! then you can sell your stock head. my car is coming along good, yea i added these rotated tranny mounts, i have no wheel hop! i love them. i have a B&M short shifter on the way along with Lucas 42s w/ harness & stage 2 belt. the Lucas injectors will flow better than these GM 42s i have, which are going static up top. the stage 2 belt for a local guy who is looking to upgrade his pulley, he already has 42s & tune (GM stage 1) so he just needs a smaller pulley, belt & custom tune.
