M62 + 2.5 pulley + L61 =

seriously tho, on your car a M62 w/ stage 2 setup, front mount h/e, full 2.5" exhaust, cai & a good tune will all you need.

ok so I called Exotic Customs and they said that it could be b/c the battery wasn't fully charged in the first place and then I let it sit for over a week....could this be true? kinda sounds like b.s. to me but who knows. He suggested getting a trickle charger for when the car sits for extended time

[QUOTE=BlackCobalt707;4122190]yea its throwin a code, last i recall it was because the rear o2 is unhooked. so ima have him take it to advanced have them scan it. and i was also thinkin fuel since the car has been sittin for a long ass time. i know the plugs and injectors are new. the plugs are step 2colder. and the injectors were barely used and they ran perfect before

thats im thinkin, i gotta ask him how long the car was running before it died. im thinkin maybe fuel pump, fuel filter, or the tune...but i dont see how it would be the tune if it ran before wit the same tune...does the computer reset itself or some ****?? im at a complete stump
Why are you running two step colder plugs again?

Are you knocking uncontrollably?

You need to look into more stuff before you go doing things.

Doing things to just do them because other people are doing them is a horrible idea. If you don't know why its done, then you shouldn't be doing it.

Get the codes read.

These cars don't run right with the rear o2 sensor completely unplugged

sounds possible..... i guess. tell them you want a brand new battery for free and make sure they run a check on it to ensure it's producing maximum volts, amps, etc.

i got the plugs cause it was a suggestion that i got them, so i went wit them, and the engine isnt knocking. and trust me, im not a follower. but are you sayin the stock plugs will work better? when you say they dont run good with them completely unplugged are you talkin about the o2 being deleted or just not on?

oh yeah I already told him that. We're heading to the beach for the weekend so we'll jump it on sunday when we get back and drive it around for a lil and I'll bring it to work monday like they said to do. If that FAILS then I'm taking the car up there and they'll have to look at it. Paolo's also gonna bring home his ammeter so we can see if theirs a draw or not. If there is then that def. the problem right there.

Part of me wished this car was paid off...then I would part out the wheels, lip kit, and engine accessories. Take out the audio stuff and install it in a Camaro SS! ahhh a girl can dream hahaha

Leaving the o2 sensor out of its bung or unplugged is bad.

And you contradicted yourself there

and trust me, im not a follower.

Ahem.

You want to run the hottest possible plug you can without knocking. Too cold with too much air coming in will blow the spark out.

Too hot of a plug will cause detonation.

Also you know L61 cranks are just plain Jane steel? They are not forged.

wait, wat did you mean by "again" when i went turbo ive always been running them things. i cant remember if i got 1 step or 2...i think 1, **** i dont know. but no, i didnt know its plain steel, considering how cheap the 2.2 is, im not suprised. when i said im not a follower and i got the plugs cause it was a suggestion, that meant i dont go around following other people just cause i think what they got is cool. i got the plugs cause im still gaining knowledge of my car and if i can pick someones brain for information then thats wat im going to do

Again doesn't need to be there.

But you probably don't need two steps colder.

yea, they are 1 step colder cause i paid $10 for them. i just checked ottp

as far as my o2 being off, i didnt plan on having it off. me and my friend was welding my downpipe together and when it came time for the cat, we couldnt get it in the same place as the stock cat was, so the cat is more under the car and the o2 wiring wont reach and when i was trying to tune the car, the engine spun a bearing and on top of that the tuner wouldnt work so i sent it back to vince, but when i order it again im goin to include havin the rear o2 deleted

Why are you running a cat?

You won't pass emissions with it

You are not allowed to change anything with the head pipes.

It could have 31289472389473289 cats on it and still fail.

Just go catless, it won't be loud, a turbo is a good muffler, and you're gonna fail inspection anyways.
