well if you get a volkswagen, make sure you get a custom ordered one with roll up windows.

better yet, get a custom one that doesnt have any sort of electrical anything...

Is it easier to mod the Speed3 compared to the Cobalt? The Mazda is a nicer car, and has higher resale value, but the Chevy is faster and has better mpg
i believe the aftermarket for the Speed3 is larger, but the Cobalt is a better all around vehicle out of the box. from the factory it has better handling & brakes, it's lighter and faster.

haha, yeah, I heard that somewhere else also.

But for 41 mpg hwy..... might be worth it. oh, and 1300$ tax credit

Anyone know anything about putting mods on the VW TDI? I heard that it can be done but is expensive.

My brother has a Mazda so he and my father believe that if I dont buy one also then I didnt listen to them, research any cars but the cobalt, and ignored everyone's opinion.

The magazines all say the car is fast, but the cobalt is faster. They usually like the nicer interior, the extra space, and they love the hatchbacks.

Mazda has a much better resale value also, but I dont qualify for the 4500$ cash-for-clunker on the mazda.

Capt....... i'm not just saying this because this is a Cobalt forum..... but i honestly believe that the Cobalt SS/TC is exactly what you're looking for. and with only a few hundred $ in mods.... you'll be EXTREMELY happy with it.

i have no clue man, i'm very busy. i have a double header softball game after work and it's my mom's bday so we are doing dinner. then tomorrow night.... some family get together. wednesday night is church. thursday might be a possibility. but even then i wont be able to meet up with him until like saturday morning or sunday evening.

and what Eclipse are you talking about? they'll give you $4500 for a trade in.

oh geez....

it's the NA 2.0? you can't just slap a turbo kit on them, the internals are different.

people who had it before me never put on a flex pipe i guess so the exhaust cracked in half and the TPS is shot and need to be replaced, the idle is real bad, besides from those 2 things its good, clutch grabs nice, interior is decent. stereo still works.
