there's a reason GM made the 2.2L the base motor it's going to be fun when my supercharger whoops your ass.

i know they made saab turbo'd, but im referring to the cobalts. BRING IT ON!!! haha, lets do the damn thang. ima go put my compressor housing back on before my lunch eng

they used a 2.0L motor for the turbo/supercharger because its a more balanced engine than a 2.2L.
2.0L breaks it down to 0.5L per cylinder.
Dodge used the 2.4L for turbo applications to get 0.6L per cylinder thinking theyre cool or something...
now lets see....hmmm 2.2L breaks down to 0.55L per cylinder. Its a funky number and they know that a 2.0L works well, thats why they went with 2.0
