do it. the Cobalts are dead after 2010. there for aftermarket won't be all that great for them in a few years. this really sucks for us who are "stuck" with Cobalts. the Evo & STi will have always have aftermarket support.

technically y'all aren't "stuck" with your Cobalt. if you wanted, you could easily get rid of it. in my situation, i can't. i'll get screwed on any type of deal. maybe in like 5 years i'll get something else. keyword: maybe

I think the balance on the loan is like 13something...arent they worth less than that now? it should be paid off by late next year though I think. Payments are like 2 months ahead.

I could easily sell the Z for a profit...I owe less than than that thing is worth.

ooh i thought y'all only had a little bit left on it. wow, i'm under $10k on my loan, when i make my May payment i'll have exactly 3 years left on it.

selling the Z would honestly make sense, since it's just a 2 seater, especially if you and Paolo are thinking about having kids soon.

we've only got two years left on the loan...maybe I've got the numbers messed up but I know we owe more on it than on the Z.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol and yeah that car is not going anywhere anytime soon. I've spent wayyyyyy too much money on it the last few years to get rid of it....plus I lub that car

Most likely scenario is to pay off both cars....get an suv and depending on what shape the cobalt is in...either sell it and get a beater or keep it until it blows up and use it to drive to work everyday.

yea i was going to say, you should owe less than me, i think y'all have had your Cobalt longer.

why no kids? you know you want to!

i was looking to get rid of my car and get something more practical but i figured once i marry Krista, we'll have her CR-V and a 00 Civic sedan (which will be my DD) so we don't need another 4 door.

just have a couple before your 30, then you won't be 50+ years old when they graduate h.s.

i'll probably be married next year, and the 1st kid will be a couple years later. i want to make sure we get the house were we want it and our cars paid off. so then we'll have tons of money for daycare, sitters, diapers, etc.
