the one thing about the DSM's that annoy me and make me turn away is that they have more problems than just about any other option out there. but if you do one right, it'll be solid. if i were to do one, i'd build the entire car to handle 600hp and then only put down 400.

Pat.... i don't know how much money you got, but there is a guy in PA trying to sell his MSR 045's, they're black with red pinstripe.

lol yea i saw, he wants like a grand. and i have no money to really cuz of this whole engine situation. They took it to GM and they couldnt figure out what was wrong with it, so they brought in GM techs and now they are checking the whole fuel system or something. basically im fucked and im expecting the worst..

i used to have a 93 Laser RS.... it was just a 2.0 n/a, i picked up from an old boss, it had a rod knock. i had all intentions of rebuilding the engine and making it a cool daily driver..... but **** happens and i sold it to a friend who used a bunch of parts off it for his 93 Eclipse GST.

once i get thru the winter and finish my mod list for the HHR then i'll really sit back and think about what i want for a project.

oh and there's nothing "old school sleeper" about any DSM car

actually.......

"From 96-99 the GS Spyder's were mated with the 4g64(2.4L) naturally-aspirated engine provided by Mitsubishi."

really?

before the Evo & STi nuthugging blew up in the early 00s.... you had the 1st & 2nd gen Eclipse, Laser & Talon.... you also had the Dodge Stealth & Mitsubishi 3000GT. and before those cars you had the Chrysler Conquest & Mitsubishi Starion.

yea they may not be flashy with bright colors & body kit but really car "people" wouldn't under estimate a "hunk of junk".
